Unless there is any discussion on change in vacancies or of high importance, delaying results even further makes no sense. I hope it comes today else be ready for some suprises like change in vacancy.

idbi, sbi and dena decided how to tackle this NPA problem.
sabhi bank ke recruitmrnt me kuch na kuch loacha hai hi koi result nahi de rahe (sbi,idbi) , kuch ne form bharwa ke exam posponed kar diya dena bank ), kuch ne joining uncertain kar di, pata nahi sab kuch itna slow process kyo hai
Some time back arundhati bhattacharya told the media that they have more manpower than required and currently a recruitment process is going on which will conclude by year end....so i think they want to recruit only by year end..thats why they are purposefully delaying the

Is there any chance to increase the vacancies for SBI po mains? Will it be the reason for delay?
Guys explain the logic behind why result is delayed if marks scored are less ? They can keep negatuve cut offs as well. Thats is not an issue at all , as far as any competitive exam is concerned. So any other probable reason ?

Result is JUST delayed for few days.....maybe due to internal issues or any issue..thats it. It does not mean that next year there will be no vacancies/this year seats reduced/recruitment cancelled/huge manpower already there .....so no recruitment. Apart from declaring results they hv other work..some urgent/imp work also.

I think... After merger they r going to revise vacancy... as many branches of other state banks shut down... so they will recruit accordingly... It may increase or decrease.. will see soon...
Those talking about vacancy changes DUE to merger, 2200 is less than 1 percent of total SBI employees and even attrition rate would be around 30 percent so merger has least effect on it. The probable reasons could be decision over marks for 250 words candidates etc. Also conducting agent is IBPS which has nothing to do with merger.
