How to read the newspaper-
Suppose you're reading The Hindu:
On the first page, read all those news items which are in the box on the left hand side. They're important. Copy this for almost all the pages, except the regional pages.
*Ignore all political news on any page, unless you're interested in Politics.*
Other news on first page like some foreign heads of nation visits India or any Indian visits some other country, is important.
Ignore city news for GA, but for interview they can ask some question, so just read the headlines.
These days, they're coming with one page each on a region, namely North, West, East, South. Just go through the headline. Do not read anything beyond it.
Next comes the Editorial Page, read everything irrespective of the matter and the content. Because reading these will help in a long run.
Don't read the 'Open Page'. We don't have that much time.
Then comes the pages with titles "News" and "Nation". Read everything from them, except Modi, Kejru ka apna naatak. Things like schemes, polity, economic stuff are important.
On the Business/Economy page, ignore sensex kitna upar neeche hua, but yes, do try to know why did it actually fall or rise, in brief.
Also read new steps taken by the government on various economic issues.
Lastly, from the Sports section, just read the headlines, that'd be more than enough. Obviously, if you've interest, you can read in detail.
