Last year, I was serious and was out in prelims (SBI PO) by 1 marks. My level is not that bad. I missed Reserve list in IBPS PO 2016 by 0.1 and by 0.45 in IBPS PO 2017. In both the exams, I had some personal problems and I couldn't prepare for mains and scored poorly in GK. ( I am selected in BOB as clerk, IBPS 2017, not joined) If I were selected for mains last year in SBI PO, I would have given a good competition. So my point here is, like me, there were several candidates out by small margin this year too. In fact, many more candidates. Last year competition was between 46K , this time just 20K. ( You can't say that these 20K are much better than 46K. One who scored 54 in prelims and was out is equally good as the one scoring 58 and appearing for mains. It is just the matter of management and question selection.) So even though cut off will shoot up, but it will be restricted because of above mentioned reason.
So each question is of 1.30 marks as mentioned in notification that paper will be of 200 marks and in exam it is mentioned that all questions carry equal marks??

I am confused. Recently I saw a poll where people were asked to vote for their estimated marks, if all the questions carry 1.29 marks invariably. Only 9% have voted that they would score higher than 90 marks. But few days before I posted a poll, for number of questions attempted, in that 35% people voted they attempted more than 90 questions. These two polls are so contradictory.. Doesn't add up. Can you guys comment on what you feel about it?
How many questions have you attempted in total in reasoning and DI( out of 45+35)? Out of 80, what was ur attempts in reasoning +DI ?
