Two more things I would like to add: 1) Last year, marks in descriptive varied from 21 to 40. So don't predict that. A lot of people extremely good in english got below 25. 2) A general student scoring 94 in mains was also a part of the final selection. So don't lose hope if you are expecting your marks to be near cutoff. That guy could be you this year.

Guys qunts 10 corrct 1 wrong getting 16.65 Rsng 21 in this there are 4 lgcal rsng and in normal 17 rsng qstns 16 pakka crct and i kept only one correct in remaining 4 lgcl qstns and i am getting 21.28 and ga i got 22 marks quite ok with this score in ga bcz many got lower dan this and this is my highest score in gk. Finally english 31 attempted and kept 9 as maximum wrongs and getting 22.4. So i am getting 82.5 without descriptive and In descriptive i am ok with no grammatical or spelling mistake and I mentioned question number too in descriptive. If i keep descriptive as 30 . I am getting 112.5+ What are my chances for final selection?? Category: EWS

Reasoning: was of the same level and almost same weightage. So won't be altering the cutoff by much. (Cutoff now: 93} GA: was easier last year.. but not by that much. So if a person would have done 25 here. He would have approximately got 28 correct in the last year's exam. But the weightage there was 1.29 so he would have got 36. This would reduce the cutoff by 11 marks. {Cutoff now: 82} Maths: Last year it was a bit easy..just a bit. A person attempting 15 at that time would have done 13 here on an average. But at time the marks would have been around 19 which would be 22 now. So this increase the cutoff by aprox 3. {Cutoff: 85} English: was a lot easier than last year. I know you would say it's not that easy. But I am talking in relative terms. A person scoring 17 laat year will be able to easily score 27 this year. But on 17 last year he would be getting 18.2 and this year on 27 he would get 30.8. Increasing cutoff by aprox 12. {Cutoff 97} And that's my prediction: 99{+/- 3}
In upcoming mains result what things they are going to release like just 1)pass/fail result 2)cut off/ score of all the candidates?

What will be ews cut off guys???
Why most of the faculty ( eg sumit sir, kush sir saurabh sir radhe sir antara maam aanchal maam vishal puneet etc))leftt adda any idea???
There is huge difference between last year sbi po 18 and this year sbi po 19..bcoz of marking scheme..it was 1.29 per question.. Lets check it by example of a student who might have qualified in mains 2018. He/she might have scored ENG-20 GS-20 math-20 Reas-23...so by 1.29 marks each he will get 107.7 marks..
NOW check it for 2019..since maths was tougher than last year and english easier than last year.. A guy/girl might have scored maths-16, Reas- 20, English-25 Gs-20..and mark scheme is 1.71, 1.33 1.14 and 1..so a guy will get 102.3 marks in 2019.. Difference of marks- 107.7-102.3=5.4 marks less than last year..
Since this year, sbi will select only 600 candidates less, deduct 2 marks for 600 less UR who will be selected less for interview this year bcoz of EWS..so difference is 5.4 - 2 = 3.4..take it 3 marks less than last yr...so cut was 93 - 3= 90 marks..only because of difference of marks than last yr.
NOW, take compeitition factor every year So increase atleast 2 marks for increase in comp..Hence cut off will never cross 93 marks..its because of marking scheme of last year..marking scheme 1.71, 1.33, 1.14 and 1 marks is making so much of difference which is not visible by naked eye.

IBPS po 18, i was predicting 70-75 cut off, considering all the possible factors..one can't compare pre cut off with mains bcz in pre more than 9 lakh ppl appears..but in Sbi po Mains its just 8000 UR..so if your facts are right, then definietly you can reach to the cut off..2019 CUT OFF will not vary much, bcoz last year they selected 3000 students for interview, while this year they will take 2400 UR for mains..only 600 students lesser than last year, will not rise the cut off any further..so, EWS HAS NO ROLE NOW..EWS has played a major role in pre by making the cut off 71(UR)
Guys i am working in syndicate bank... appeared sbi po mains and expected to clear... doi need to apply for Noc now only or afterwards ? Will they allow me for interview by taking declaration without noc ?
