Does accuracy in IBPS clerk is also a factor in score caluculation ????
gave my exams on 8 dec. evening found quant quite tough though other sections were easy and attempted more than 35 in every section, but in quant i have attempted 19 questions with 100% accuracy but after realising that i will not clear the cutoff i attempted all the questions in quant (just wild guess)😠 will it hamper my score in quant even if i score 3-4 marks with those wild guesses ....

100%right ) M= 36 (again bingo 100%right ) E= 23 C= 31 now the worst thing GA = 16 ( 😠 )
I hope no one goes through the experience I had today during my exam (I am not mentioning the Institute or any name, incase it calls for any legal action).:
I appeared from Kolkata.Woke up at 7 and caught the 8 am train (no breakfast).Reporting time was 9. Reached at 8.45 and stood in the que. Around 9.10 the entry was paused for sometime (we were around 60 candidates yet to enter). Then we were led into a classroom and made to sit. One person came and took 7 candidates. Around 9.45 another person came and informed us- "There is some issue with the computers here. You'll be taken to location ABC ( it was around 15 KMs from the institute).We were made to wait outside the college gate. Few were made to board a mini bus and went...8 candidtaes out of the last few left were taken by 2 cabs ( 1 examiner went ahead with them).
Around 17 candidates were still there.Then a bus came to which we all were instructed to board onto.
The senior most examiner boarded the bus with (there were a total of 3.One went,one stayed behind).
We were informed that we now are going to location XYZ (which was around 35 KMs) instead of ABC.
Time: 10.00 am
We had barely traveled for 5 mins when the examiner accompanying us let out a huge shriek ( O Ma O Ma) and started trembling and fell down from his seat shaking vigorously. His eyes had rolled up and there was blood from his mouth.
We for a moment were in too much shock to know what was happening.Then we realised he is having some stroke.We stopped the bus. He was lying between 2 seats and was stuck (still shaking). We didnt have any contact number of other examiners nor the institute. I had the helpline number provided in IBPS website and tried it a number of times but could not get through (I didnt know how it wudve helped, but that was the only contact number available at that moment)
Finally,3 candidates ran back to the college for help while we grabbed the examiners cell phone and tried calling the numbers from his recent call log. (None, let me tell u none of the numbers did any good)
With no luck with the numbers we decided we should take him to the hospital ourselves.

Just then, the 3 candidates returned in a car with the 3rd examiner who had stayed behind.
Time 10.15 am:
We were able to lift the person as he had stopped shaking and made him lie on a seat. Asked the roadside people where is the nearest hospital and instructed the bus to go there.Reached hospital (by now the person was coming to normal though in shock). We took him to the emergency room after which doctors took over.
Time 10.35 am:
The 3rd examiner had contacted someone else and that person arrived after which we left the hospital and started again. He informed us that we will be allowed to appear for 2 hours.That this wont affect the exam ( Our minds were already affected sir...). He instructed the bus to travel to XYZ (35KMs), but after travelling for around 15 minutes again instructed to go to ABC instead.
Time 10.35 am:
The 3rd examiner had contacted someone else and that person arrived after which we left the hospital and started again. He informed us that we will be allowed to appear for 2 hours.That this wont affect the exam ( Our minds were already affected sir...). He instructed the bus to travel to XYZ (35KMs), but after travelling for around 15 minutes again instructed to go to ABC instead.
(ABC and XYZ are on opposite part of the city )
Time 11.35 am:
After travelling for around 45 minutes we got down at a place- From here we had to take Autorikshaw to the institute as it was around 3 kms from the main road (it took almost 10+ mins with the horrible road condition). Had to walk 5 mins from the gate of the institute.
Reached the main building and were led to a lab where exam was already in progress ( it was the morning batch I suppose)
I didnt check the time after that. We were immediately made to log in and start our exam.
Outcome:
I was still not out of the incidents that had just happened. No doubt I screwed my exam. Started with Quant-knew the formulae, knew how to proceed, but just could not concentrate and write down anything. Unable to do simple calculations, I switched to Computer.But even simple computer awareness questions seemed alien.It took about 20 mins for me to get normal, but the damage had already been done.
Final attempt : GA: 17 CA : 25 Eng: 38 Reasoning : 35 Quant: 18
Could not do simple multiplication and additions...simple ratio and profit&loss; questions...
Met 4 other candidates while returning...everyone faced the same problem...You see, we are normal human beings after all...
I do not have any right to blame the examiners because they gave their everything and made sure we did not miss the exam. Really appreciate their effort...
The only consolation is that today we 17 candidates put aside our personal issue and instead went to help someone in need 😃 .... And I sincerely hope that the gentleman is doing well now....
(Have cleared PO written...hope God will give me some 'reservation' in PI following today's event 😁 . Else "better luck next time Kaen" ...)

after submitting the exam some candidates got msg as "error on page" including me . m worried if my performance is submitted or not. invigilator said its submitted . mailed ibps bt no reply
Guys I have noticed that this year Clerical xam was quite tough as compared to previous year so I hope the cut off comes down a bit.....
