If you dont have any seats left in R3 itself why not inform earlier and instead conduct a single round for fair chances. While conducting profile evaluation you mention chances of scholarship if PI goes fine. But when the result comes you reject even after a decent PI . I have applied to other colleges as well. Few highly reputed. But never seen such admission process with lack of transparency and vague judgement while carrying profile evaluation and mentioning the cutoffs. We understand that few of you are disheartened either because of being waitlisted or being rejected. Please understand that the college has received an overwhelming number of applications with few seats remaining. Offers to meritorious candidates have been sent out. Let's not jump to conclusions. People who have been accepted can say but most probably they are tied up as they have to decide soon. Also not all of them are part of this group probably.

This message is for the Admission Dept of MISB. I just have 5-6 questions, the moment you guys answer that ... I think, no one will raise voice on the credibility of your admission process ....... (1) What is the seats for the PGDM year 2017-19. (2) How many students have been allotted seats in various rounds. (3) How many seats are left till date . (4) Why have you guys rejected the students in the waiting list of Round 1 & 2. (5) What is the guarantee that the students in the waiting list of R3 will convert after mid May as stated by you guys . (6) If you guys claim that waiting list is due to more applications on less no. of seats, then why are you organizing R4 counselling . If you guys can asnwer these questions then I think no one will say anything else on this issue.
Admission and Waitlist Process:
PGPB6 will have approx 120 Indian plus International students.
For everyones reference, we repost the below statement from the website" When Should you apply?
"We encourage applicants to apply in the earlier round, as space in the class may be limited by the third and fourth round. Early applicants are viewed as serious and well-prepared candidates. By applying early, you stand a greater statistical chance of being accepted, as you’re only being measured against other early entrants."
Each candidate gets an assessment that is calculated at the end of the process by considering - Academic consistency, test scores, application, extracurriculars, interests, social work, work impact and finally the personal interview(If shortlisted for it).
If you are waitlisted in the earlier rounds, it indicates that your assessment was not on par with the accepted candidate list and the admissions team will revisit your profile at a later stage if and when required.
At the end of each round, if there are withdrawals from accepted candidates, the waitlisted candidates start moving up the list purely on the basis of their assessment. In the subsequent rounds, new candidates will be given precedence over the waitlisted candidates only if their assessment are comparatively higher. All of this is subject to availability of seats and focuses on increasing overall quality in the class.
Offers have been sent out in R3 and depending on their acceptance/withdrawals we will reach out to the next set of candidates. It's impossible for us to indicate the chances of this movement as it depends on the students acceptance/waithdrawals.
Based on the earlier round response, Round 4 will not be conducted.

If you have work experience then dontdon't worry .they will not grill you about graduation but if u dontdon't hv work ex then prepare 2 subject atleastat least in depth
