hose who have posted B and C correct justify with error also as it would be helpful....as my take on b is there should be comma between European Central Bank(,) Jean and same case with C External Affairs minister(,) Pranab Mukherjee...

But the solution posted from where i got the question is...
Sentences A, D and E are correct.
Sentence B is incorrect. “... escalating a clash within governments” is incorrect as the word “within” is used in case of something happening within one entity or within a single structure. In this case however the clash is 'with' governments, that is, between the bank and the governments.
Sentence C is incorrect as the word “disapproval” is to be followed by the preposition “of” and not the preposition “at” - one disapproves “of” something.
Hence, the correct answer is option 5.
which also seems valid to me...

It's better to be fat and fit than thin and sedentary for overall health and well being.

It's better to be fat and fit than "to be" thin and sedentary for overall health and well being.

Here in the given sentence "Than" is a subordinating conjunction which is being used after comparative adjective "thin". Whereas "to be " is a verb.
so to compare the below two statements we go a conjunction and not a verb.

@prashantdav thank you...yaad rakna padega
a)as we crossed the street, a bus almost crushed us.
b)while we crossed the street ,a bus almost crushed us.

Hi Puys,
I am stuck with the following sentence:
It's better to be fat and fit than thin and sedentary for overall health and well being.
SHOULD IT NOT BE :
It's better to be fat and fit than "to be" thin and sedentary for overall health and well being.
Is my answer wrong??
Please Help !!!
both are correct...in the second one you are just repeating the infinitive --- in the first on the presence of the infinitive is understood due to parallelism.
hope this helps !!
