@develishangie said:@princekumar0207@kssrisha1989Want to ask you about the release letter I would have to show from my previous company. I have a soft copy of it and no hard copy. Due to some unavoidable circumstances I couldn't go to collect the same and so they mailed me service letter and the release letter. Will it be fine if produce the same for verification?
Do we have to submit our photographs too, if yes then how many????

In my honest opinion, you have to be neither diplomatic nor honest. I mean, well yeah, you should answer honestly but you cannot be crude while you do so. The point of a GD is to bring our points, not scream at each other trying to shove ideas down somebody else's throat. When you get a chance to make a point, make a valid statement (this is neither for or against) and provide points and counter-points to support the same. From my experience, your thinking matters, how much extra you can think about the topic, what examples you can quote, what situations you can apply it to et al.
All the above may hold good unless the panel gives you an extremely one sided topic, examples being the recent Delhi case, terrorism etc in which case you cannot support it but you could rather remain tending towards being neutral.
In the end it all boils down to the panel and what their mood/thinking is on that day. My opinion would be to remain neutral just to be safe. The GD is more about assessing thinking capability rather than assessing who can shout the loudest. Of course man management does play a part but there are better ways of doing it. For example, before everyone begins, you could take the lead and say "Hello group, lets have a productive discussion, maybe we all speak for 2 minutes starting from the left". If the person seems hesitant, say something like "I'll start off while you collect your thoughts around the topic and you could join in with your points as we proceed". Stuff like that is polite yet commanding.

I'd daresay carry around 10. In 2 different locations preferably. Better safe than sorry. Also whichever college you join (not you srisha...i mean the aspirants), carry at least a dozen photographs of each passport and stamp size with you. They come in useful all the time!
@puyz
Also, get rid of the 'cool' rock 'n' roll t-shirt photographs. It might bring out your natural side but for the sake of your future get one clicked in a blazer (wear a tie preferably).
Think of it this way. A company is recruiting 2 people. On first look, one person is wearing a t-shirt, unkempt hair, ears pierced etc compared to a civil looking suited up guy. You choose!
I know it's a bias, but getting a new photo clicked never hurt anybody...!
