Ok regarding GD topics and A/V round which was conducted last year ONLY...
In a day or two, the Aspirant Relations Team here at SIBM Pune will be assigning, each of the candidates who have received a GI/PI call, a BUDDY..

This BUDDY will be a MBA-I student (batch 2011-2013) who will help you with all queries that you might have pertaining to last year's process..

So hang tight and wait for that mail.... then get in touch with your BUDDY and ask them these questions as am sure they will be in a better position to answer them having gone through last year's process personally (am a 2nd year student, memory of what happened 2 years back is kinda clogged, repercussions of old age )

those who have calls from SIBM-P, have an annexure comprising 6 questions which each aspirant must answer. the last date to download the annexure is Jan 23 and the last date for submission (upload) is Jan 26.

If you have a call, login to view your admit card and look for "To download the annexure Click Here."
under "Instructions to Candidates". Also, be sure to carry the annexure with you for ge-pi.

you can show your appointment letter.... or offer letter...... hope it helps..... atb

stopped after group and snap id.... got bored thinking... too much stress on the brain ... but nice job by whoever made it please coney my regards @shaurya @satana...lols

I am not sure if you all read it, just so 50% of you know GUYS are supposed to wear Ties. havent worn one since the grad farewell... i really look stupid in one of those.

Its somewhere around 1220 approx. So the ratio is close to 1:7. I am not sure though whether that is a healthy ratio or a difficult one to convert...

Seniors,

I have completed my BA with pol.sc and eco.
So many of my answers in the annexure about my likes and dislikes of books, people who inspire you have a heavy dosage of literature , history and politics . As i have seen most of you telling that you should be honest in your answers !

Would this inclination of my annexure somehow go against me ??
Is there some specific kind of answers they expect??

Could you please suggest some pointers to keep in mind while filling the Annexure ?

Also what role do previous acads and work-ex play in the overall selection process.

Annexure is same for EVERYONE...
all have got the same set of questions...

Tips on filling the Annexure :-
1) Be truthful as much as possible..... remember you will be asked to justify your answers during your PI (annexure takes up a major chunk of PI)
2) Show your creative side a bit.... sell yourself to the panelists.... distinguish yourself from the crowd..
3) Understand what the questions are trying to gauge... DO NOT go on mechanically filling the form with references to forms that you might have filled up in the past

To answer the 2nd question, previous acads and work ex make up a substantial part of your PI score...
The panelists might probe you in that regard and hence your qualification place a big role..

Hey guys,

Booked a slot for 8th-8:30 AM, Please give info on some good and economical hotel, have no idea about Pune. Would be coming by train from Patna and will be reaching on 7th morning. Plus, I need to know about bus services to travel from Pune to Anand, Gujrat. If any senior or local have some contacts about such things please let me know.

And One more thing, Could someone throw some light upon placement stats for Freshers in Finance like the general package given to Freshers, have done BBA(just to let you know). I have heard that placements differ very much for freshers and work ex guys.

And, Loan facility for students, like what all has to be done, My family financial position is not that good, so cannot afford to give collateral, so is there some tie-ups of SIBM with banks to provide loan facilities, I am thinking of taking SBI SCHOLAR LOAN, Please provide info on loan process and what all has to be done, documents required, etc.

Replies would be highly appreciated.

well if u compare it wid iima its diff, iim a this tym called wid 1:3 ratio!
