I just logged in to the SIBM site to select a slot for the GE/PI stage. But what I see is that the slot is already chosen for me. I did not choose it. What is this??

This is an age old question that i have been faced with while applying for exams.I am an Mumbai University BE student.Although i have 69 percent in the final yr the overall percentage is quite less(less than 60).Now my BE certificate says "First class". So what is the percentage that the institute requires?? Is it the overall percentage or the final yr one as Mumbai University considers.Help appreciated

Your aggregate percentage would be the average of all the semesters.
However if it requires you to provide your BE percentage it will be according to th enorms followed by your university for deciding BE percentage.In case of MU it will be the percentage of your final year.
In essence, if you have completed your degree , you can provide your BE marks.
Have you checked the proper mail id (the one which you entered in the SIBM Pune form).... also check the SPAM folder incase it goes there..
If you still haven't received the same till 2359hrs tonight then drop in a mail to the Aspirant Relations Team at [email protected] stating your problem..

1) is it correct ?
2) under what cases does SIBM does it?
3) if it has to happen this year, till when can we expect revised cut-offs ?
4) normally, as an pattern, what is the difference in terms of marks ?
Missed SIBM by approx 3 marks. Hence concerned. Please reply asap.

SIBM Pune never revises its cutoff for GDPI rounds. However, it does give final admissions to people who it rejected in first place after GDPI rounds.
So, the cutoff for GDPI will always be what it is now. However, after giving ur GD and PI if you get a reject in first list, you can still keep your hopes alive. You might get a final admit if people with converts get better B school converts.
PS: I had 122.25 in SNAP last year and had got final admission in 1st list itself. It was 21st Feb morning. Still fresh in my mind. It was the 1st convert of the season 😁

By Symbiosis Test Secretariat you mean the campus at Sb road from where bus service will be available right? Roughly from pune airport auto will charge you something around 200-300. However I will advise you not to take an auto from the airport but book an auto by calling autowala. The no is---02066111111. They will ask for your mobile no and the time and place. Provide all the detials they will send an aut to the airport at the specified time. Also since they are registered service they will charge you according to the norm via meter. The call center person will also tell you about the approx charges. All the best.

But I do have all the marksheets, consolidated marksheet and provisional degree certificate. Will these documents suffice??
