Ok guys,
It seems a lot of you were expecting to clear but dint make it. I'd like to highlight a few points here...
The panelists were different for different people, one panelists marking for an "excellent candidature" may not be the same as another. Finally your overall score counts. Also, the college is looking for the right mix of candidates in terms of experience, exposure, qualities, goals etc.
Like last year, few people got a call for GD/PI. Its almost half the number that was called 2 years back. This itself is a + point for those who got a call. Untill and unless you did extremely bad... keep your hopes alive. Atleast for the waitlisted candidates, I can say they have a high possibility of getting a call.
Admissions are subject to cancellations.... As you know many of you are trying for other colleges like TISS, IHMR and other general management colleges. Most results are out by May, that is when major cancellations take place and the probability of getting an admission against cancellations increases.
There is no harm in waiting... yes few seats are reserved for the management quota, which effectively means that you have to pay double the fees a "free-seat" candidate is paying. However, my advice to those on waitlist... Dont go for a management seat, as you may end up paying double while candidates behind you on the list get their call cleared against cancellation.
Lastly, try for other good colleges... I'm sure everyone will find a good match for their demands. At the end of the day, it matters how you sell yourself and make the most out of your degree.

there seem to be people interested for the management quota. for that there needs to be a separate application to be made. Call up the sihs office and ask for information about the seats available. please dont go through agents....
Its best to contact the registrar at sihs. Sir is very co-operative and will help you with the procedure. The application has to be made at the symbiosis society at the vishwbhavan campus itself. you will have to visit the campus personally for quicker admission. I will try and get a contact number within a few days and also the number of seats available.
Please dont get nervous. The 3rd list will not be displayed... now admissions will happen on cancellation, and this usually happens around may. All the best to those who did not get through, there are many other options to try. And cheers to all who are joining..... will see you guys on campus.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the management seats. Here is some fresh and useful news.
Firstly, there are no management seats applicable to SIHS this year onwards. They have reserved seats under "Discretionary Quota". Applications have to be made separately for these seats and after discussions amongst the college authorities, the seats will be granted. Various parameters will be considered. The colleges has already received more than 25 applications (approx. figure). But there is no harm in applying even now.
Secondly. the registrar is available on the college landline, please ask for Mr. Avinash Kakade (registrar) or email [email protected]
