I have a couple of clarifications I bought the form from IMS. Filled the form, Wrote my address in the stickers, Extra DD for 1200(For Agri Business Mgt), Enclosed my IMS receipt. Posted it too... But now with ppl discussing about the Online thing I tried to login with my Snap ID and Mail ID. Filled my personal details, educational details and Workex details, Chose the two courses and submitted the same... Is that All or any other thing that has to be done in Online...??? Also is there any way to check the SIIB office if our application form has reached??? Please help me out in this regard..

Pls avail this option only in case u r not able to get the prospectus.. Last date is 5th Jan as of now...u can send the form thru courier co. like Bluedart who guarantee next-day delivery :)

Wel the profiles tht are offered vary according to the specialization ur into and the work-ex a person possess. Apart frm tht i-banking, equity research, RMs, A Cons etc are the roles given. Talkn abt IB, the major international roles are in marketing although other fields also have some. Here in u get to work in territories/ countries where company is focussing or currently having their projects.
Verbal Ability 20% Quantitative Ability 20% Date Interpretation & Data Sufficiency 20% Business Awareness 15% Analytical & Logical Reasoning 25% But, SNAP had only 4 sections.. so how would they differentiate. Also is the preference the same as last year?? i.e. Engineer +2, CA +3 etc. Work-Ex +1,+2,+3(max.) for that many years of work-ex.... The over-all weightage of SNAP test in final selection is reduced from 40% to 20%...(if i can recollect correctly) Implications and Explanations from Seniors are welcome.... Great move... must admit...
First of all, i appriciate tht u fished out htis info for us.. Secondly, we provide certain info based on the knowledge we have talkn to the guys sittn in the office. This time round we are told tht there are no sectional weightages e.g. DI having a different weightage etc.
Lastly, the preference scores to engineers, CAs, work ex guys would be hw much is not known and mayb like last year would be told whn calls are given out.
I am from SIIB 05-07 batch and I am already into corporate world from last 1 year. I am currently working with IBM and I am sitting beside guy from IIMs and S P Jains and at the end of month, we all fetch the same figure(And its pretty good).
I hope this real picture from corporate world with help you to take your decisions more wisely. I think u should understand one simple thing, all the reputed companies go to all the reputed institutes. But than the game is all about what kind of profile they are offering and are we guys capable enough to crack the company?
Hey I can assure as alumini of SIIB that you will get at least 20 companies at SIIB who will pay you more than what you have expected but than again every thing lies on you.

i have a query here... i have filled and sent the SIIB form and also register online. But when i open the online form the nxt time i see some values of the form still blank e.g. the procurement mode and Industry/sector. what do i do?? how will i ensure that the form is properly submitted??

You r on the right track :) Just make sure that u fill all the details in the online form and click on 'submit' and then 'confirm' Pls read the previous post for ur other query :)

i asked the ims people..they said no need to send the slip..also check out the form..nowhere is it mentioned that u hav to send the slip

Yes..online registration is mandatory for everybody.
