what wd be the expected cutoff for siib(ABM) this year.i saw last year was 51 marks....

This is a not a case of discriminating one against each other bt colleges preferring engineers to BBA/BCAs especially whn in case of freshers. N preference comes only whn u have a situation of two ppl gettn tied. If a BBA/BCA has a high score thn he/she is nt stopped frm qualifyng to the next round. N the issue of preferring engineers is because they bring in certain skill sets like understandn processes btr and have a analytical thought process developed over 4 yrs. This may nt be true in every case bt thts generally the point kept in favour. At the same time non engineers are no where less hard working as smbdy mentioned. If any person can prove the worth than there is no stoppn.

I also have a work ex of 38months working in an automobile showrum steel company as a junior manager. Do i stand a chance of getting a call from SIIB/SCMHRD specially because of GK i am not sure:confused:

cuz ppl who had analysed ur scores according to the paper put up by PT got a score off 15-20 marks lesser than what they expected, n lots of these mba coaching instis will also tell u dat a major chunk of the scores are on the lower sides..

Unfortunately buddy, the dates for applying to SIIB got over on 6th Jan. :-(
So i guess there's no other way you can apply 2 SIIB now.

U shud in all probability get a cal for MBA-AB course. As far as y knowledge goes, the GD rounds for AB course are same with tht of those competing for IB course. N if the changes u made were saved, thn they r allowed, isnt it?

Ur chances are very slim due to various reasons. Firstly u hve a zero in quant whch is a favoured sub for SIIB. SEcondly ur score is on the lower side even compared to the other students posting their queries here. N lastly, ur work ex is also fractured n even includes family business. The last year's cutoffs were also arnd 76. So, it wud be tough to say tht cutoffs cn dip substantially, if at al they do.
