Hi Puys,

Few clarifications here... I called up SIIB; they have asked to wait for the link to be posted on the website...
plus it is confirmed that the GD/PIs are only going to be in PUNE....
So request you all to have some patience and wait till the results are out completely..
It will hurt more if you will se "Congratulations" now and "Sorry" later so have some patience...

Finally!!! the page has been updated!! it now says 2008-10 batch.bt the next page isnt opening..:sleepy:

I dont know whats the problem with these B schools especially college that belongs to Symbi family.
First they charge exorbitant aplication procedure fees....
then set a admission center in a remote village at extreme corner of city(Mine center was Gurgaon but actually it was in some village)........
then there were reports of irregularities at exam centres.....(Some getting less time and some invigilators giving more time)................
and now when it comes to give out result ,then they can give it out without making mockery...........

and then they set GD/PI centres in Pune only......
Are Bhai i have SCMHRD GD/PI on 2nd and SIIB on 10th..I ahve to go to Pune 2 times...........will eat all my hard earned money and even then i am not sure to get a admission.......................
and these SCMHRD ...........they even bother to take the cumulative score...........you flunk in GD..you are not worth of a admission to B school.................

hey dude i called up SIIB..... one of the seniors...... they postponed till 6 PM because they were not able to update the information...... though the link is correct........ the cut off is 76.75.....(open)

there is a twist here....... the cut off is SNAP score + work ex score+ graduation average score..........

so we total all that and if we get above 76.75(open) then the student gets the call....

Boss as written in the earlier post....the 2nd link of New Page1 gives the results after the GD/PI for last year and it is showing not selected for everyone....and the 1st link SIIB GD gives the real result I suppose. May be I am wrong so better wait for the official results.

SIIB would like to thank the student community for the huge response to the MBA Programs offered. Continuing the upward trend, approximately 22,000 applications were received this year. The MBA- AB program of SIIB, launched in 2003 has gained huge popularity and has grown by leaps and bounds.
SIIB in its unique selection process ensures that the students shortlisted for the GDPI get an opportunity to participate in all the processes of Phase II which comprises of Group Task which tests the ability to work in a team, Group Discussions for evaluating group dynamics, Personal Interview and Written Communication. Since different skill sets are evaluated in each process,those finally selected for SIIB are truly all rounders! SIIB GDPI- CRITERIA FOR SHORTLISTING
The cut offs for the various categories in the two programs - MBA-IB and MBA-AB have been arrived at after applying weightages (if applicable) to your performance in the SNAP Test conducted on 16th December 2007.

Weightages were granted for:

Full time Work Experience
Average Graduation Performance
Graduation Streams (CA/ICWA/Engineering/Pharmacy) SIIB GD /PI STATUS (BATCH 2008-10)

cmon dude... the link which says ur not selected is the link for FINAL MERIT LIST FOR 2007-09 which was put up last yr after the GDs and PIs were over..
do u honestly think u'll be selected by checking ur result in that link ????

yea i m quite sure bout it.....the delhi venue is coming as they are currently in process of updating the site... the portion below is previous year's data..last year they had a GD/PI in lodhi road............ ne more questions:)

guys i just now checked & it shows t message:

Your SIIB Score (SNAP score + SIIB weightages) is below the SIIB cut off. You have therefore not been shortlisted for the SIIB GD/PI process for 2008-10 batch.

Things sometimes do not turn out the way we wish. This however does not mean that we stop working towards our goals.
