The official cutoffs for this year's batch are as follows:
MBA-IB - 81.25 and MBA-ABM - 51.75
THESE CUTOFFS HAVE BEEN CALCULATED CONSIDERING VARIOUS WEIGHTAGES WHICH ARE DIFFERENT FROM LAST YEAR

there surely seems to b something missing... i think all the puys with scores in 75-83 types snap score range need some more clarity on why they havent been selected, including me.
what is meant by the SIIB weightabes ???
is it the same as last year???
i tried calling the office, but no one picked. is there any other way to contact them??
is there a posibility tht because of the incomplete forms these people have been rejectd? (in which case the same message doesnt hold good)
please let us know about these queries...

Could you please tell us what these weightages are.....I dont think any of us can calculate our scores without knowing what weightages to apply. No respite from the admissions office as they refuse to reply to the phone!

R u Varun from PEC Civil branch? If that is true, I m ur batchmate (Electronics branch). Yaar, same query as that of other guys. Have my SCMHRD interview on 31st. Cuming 2 Pune for 3 days. Hav already taken two days off 4m office. Won't b able 2 cum again for SIIB interview on 8th. Can these guys change my slot to 1/2/3?
How do I change my GD/PI date as it is clashing with other Smybi b-school....I tried calling but no1's picking the phone....Plz advice me how do I go about it......

Hello everyone... Congratulations and all the best to all the call getters.. Even i got a call...
And for those who could not make it, dont worry guys.. All the best for the other results.. And be positive.. I can understand ur feelings.. Coz I was in the same position last year and even this year too.. So I can empathize with u.. Last yr I missed out on cat and other institutes inspite of getting 90%ile.. (lost out due to verbal, 40%ile only :sleepy: ) Lost out on symbi institutes too... Missed by a small margin... Wasnt short-listed for any institute last year... But did not give up, gave exams this year too.. Though i'm working, and did not find enough time to prepare, still gave it... And this time again lost out on cat, but wrote snap well... And the bad time continued for me, dint get calls from sibm and scmhrd... Was totally frustrated.. Finally I got it from siib (this was the last hope for me this season)... But, even if i wouldnt have got any call this year, still wud have come back next year and wud have given my best shot again... But, finally with a little luck and god's grace, got a call from siib... And though this is just the 1st step, still many rounds to go like gd/pi, still I'm happy to open my account... 
So guys, dont lose hopes, keep trying... Just that some make it early, and for some it takes time... And this is just the beginning of our lives.. Sincerity, dedication and hard work will definitely pay off one day...
Btw, my scores:
Snap : 79.5.
Xth : 74.4 (cbse).
XIIth : 78.0.
B.tech : 71.82 (2007 pass out).
Work-exp : 6 months in one of the top 4 IT companies in India.
So, ALL THE BEST to all of u...
