yes puneet ..i called up sp jain ppl n after many call diverts some1 replied its coming on 14th jan n there r only 2 lists n there was no funda like this was some work ex list..

I'll answer them one at a time:
1. Give a brief overview of your school and college background - I am so and so person, from so and so school/college (depending on what is asked of you), if you have a great academic background, DO highlight it, if you have taken part in any extracurricular stuff, be it debates, elocutions, drama, singing, dancing, painting, crafts, if you have taken part in any science fairs or whatever - then DO MENTION IT. (You will need to back all this up with certificates though, don't gas)
2. Well, this can and will have to be answered in tandem with your 3rd query and will depend to an extent on how much you know about finance. I'll illustrate what I mean. My choice is Marketing. So I would answer it by:
- > mentioning that Marketing intrigues me - > it intrigues me because... - > but i feel that i lack functional knowledge abt marketing - > more specificially in my areas of interest (FMCG/Consumer durable/consumer services/industrial products/industrial services) - > and hence I feel an MBA will help me acquire this functional knowledge

I have some more bad news to add on to it.... I heard there are only 100 calls out in the 2nd list ...Have a percentile of 96.76 with one and a half year work ex...
lets hope the info I have is wrong..

i also heard the funda abt "be urself"...also u have 2 b really attentive coz they can shoot off a q 2 u netime...i.e suppose sum guy is answering n a panel member feels that u r not listening,then he can ask u 2 continue frm there...... loz dips

r u serious?? personally, i dont think so... please clarify ur last post. there r lot of us eagerly waintin for 2nd list. afaik, there is no update on the spj site mentioning releasing the 2nd list.
