Dear keshi !!
Yes ofcourse you can opt for HR or mktng. I am in HR and we have around 10% of work ex people and in mktng we have a decent number of students with work ex.
Regarding the placements, I am in the placement cell and can tell you the exact average going on this year... its 4.24 lpa as of date.
Yes ofcourse the college is recognised , thats the reason you are aspiring for it,isnt it ?? We are AICTE approved !! and do go through the page

hi keshi !! its true that they have mentioned 5years of work exp,but its quite hard to get people with 5years work exp.We do have some people with that much of experience. To fill the seats they transfer some of the people from other duals in to exe who are also treated for laterals.

Hi Arun, You stand very fair chances to convert the call and am sure you will get a call as 99.1%ile will definitely fetch you one.Just give your best shot in GD/PI.
In case you dont convert it and get in through management quota then truts me there is no differentiation among the students.Every body gets equal chance to sit for the placements.:p

Please mention clearly, did you get a call from BIMM by appearing in MAT?? or by applying for the college ??
Dear all,
I see everybody questioning about the placements and that does make sense because you all will think about the Return On Investment. i read someone's post saying that BIMM is only good for marketing placements and I do agree for that but would also say that marketing placements are good everywhere because they are more in demand. A company coming down to the campus may take 10 marketing but 1 or 2 HRs or may be not a single one. Its because we the HRs are considered to be the cost centres and so the intake in the companies is less. But it doesnt mean that the college is not good for HR its just that the company doesnt need them in a big number.
We have the best of faculties (permanent and visiting both), for HR we have so many HR meets. BIMM-HR is really a reputed one. Systems & operations also get very good placements.
Then some people worry being freshers. Let me tell you all onething experience helps only when its relevant and you really make some worth out of it.I have seen freshers here getting wonderful placements which the experinced ones dont get because they cant apply their experience.
I hope am making little sense to all of you. keep throwing questions as they arise.:p:p
i am B.E (EEE) 2009 passout .
my academics
B.E 67%
12th 89.3%
10th 85.3%
my mat dec 2009 score is 676.5 (89.77%le)
i presented paper presentation and poster presentation's ...
cai apply for bimm??..wat are my chances??

Both amity and alliance charges high fees 4 der courses..R.O.I. is nt 2 good..AMITY sectorial programmes doesn't have gud placements in comparision 2 der flagship programmes, as AMITY batch size is high. I think u can better apply 4 CHRIST UNI., SCMS-COCHIN,BIMM,JIMS where R.O.I. is good.
Also, u can wait till feb-mat results will b out..
hey guys i had appeard 4 dec mat nd my score r 650 with a %ile of 84.29 i wish to apply to bimm ......does it accept dec mat scores......nd wat is d cutoff for that?
