I have been selected as Divn Acct, i belong to Central Region and my nomination status is showing as "NOMINATED".

I want to know what does it means to be nominated?

it means ur dossier sent to user dept. and no document deficiency.

It means your name has sent to the dept for appointment.

Zone allocation 13th may ko hona tha, lekin kuchh provisional cases ki wajah se nahi ho saka.... Abhi pvr aur medical baaki hi hai....it's a too long process, and on top of that it proceeds with snail's pace.

Someone wrote that police verification will be after joining. btw how did you know that allocation was to be done by 13th?

masoom, when now is it going to be the zone allocation in CBDT?Does your relative has any idea?
One more question my obc certificate was in 2000.after that new issue of the certificate in 10/5/2010 will I disqualify getting the job though my name is nominated as in the advertisement it is saying that 2/3/2010 is the date of reckoning of obc status.Kindly reply if you have any knowledge.I am very tensed.

dear friend-nomination is preceded by thorough investigation of all ur document. if u are nominated, as u said, i don't think there is any need to worry abt the date of issue of ur obc certificate.

Thanks masoom I am relaxed now.I spend so many sleepless nights for this.Thank you again for your information.Wait till the end of this month zone allocation will be done.

I called cbdt office at delhi.One lady picked the phone up and informed me that as she is aware it will be within may.Most probably on 30th.

ssc chief tweeted if already nominated then cbdt will decide.My nomination has done without keeping me provissional.So what do you think is there any hope of getting the job?

Can anybody tell me what are provisional cases?
Is it something to do with OBC certificates?
