First reporting to IT office for photo attestation. Then medical. After medical report is received.... I must report again to IT office with all my document original and photocopy. ( Received a letter for medical exam )

Delhi region has started sending offer letters to those who have completed PVR and medical examination.
Same for all zones. PVR delaying my case. Letter for PVR sent by Delhi zone two months back. No action by police dept yet! So much for efficiency of our police dept!

To get Delhi or CHD region, one should score high rank as it is first choice of almost 1/3rd of applicants. Allocation depends upon ur category and no. of vacancies available in the region. In CGL 10 almost everyone in Top 100 ranks got his/her first choice. What is your score,

Hi, a Medical Fitness Form will be supplied by the office concerned and you have to get certified it by a medical officer not below the rank of Civil Surgeon and submit it to the office. I got my medical fitness certificate from district hospital near to my office. It is simple form. Don't worry.

As you're saying, after medical examination has been done, one has to wait some more time for the offer letter to arrive. Does that mean, joining is not being done as soon as the medical report is submitted? Do we have to go to our concerned regions twice, once for getting medically examined and then come back and then again go for joining when the offer letter comes? Please clarify...

Bhai log PVR ki tension bhi ham logon ko he leni hogi kya? Means is it our headache. And By reading ur posts i m getting an impression that joining will be delayed till pvr is not completed.Is it so?:nono:

Actually all regions are following different procedures. In case of Delhi Medical Examination is done at RML Hospital. At RML they give the medical report same day which is to be submitted at Zonal HQ in person. If PVR and medical are over, an offer of appointment is issued to which one has to submit an acceptance letter. After this only the final offer letter is issued. Other regions may follow a different procedure altogether.

Delhi zone is very clear on this. No offer letter till PVR is completed. No option but to wait as u know how things move in police dept.
chaher Saysmy score 420.5 bt my 1st preference is excise so was asking score to get chandigarh iti last yr or excise score last yr so that i can guess if i can get chandigarh or delhi
Going by the cut offs this year, yours is a good score. But ur first preference is excise so u have to take if that is offered to u. Last year cut-off for ITI in general category was 497 out of 700. But this year it'll be quite low as negative marking has been introduced for the first time in SSC. you may get a good rank based on your final score which will include your interview marks. By the way how was the interview?

Nothing certain as it may take any amount of time for PVR to reach ur zonal office?

I,m still optimistic about ur chances of getting Delhi or CHD. As far as the performance in interview is concerned do not come to any conclusion as yet. The performance is viewed in relation with other candidates. In worst cases it's around 45 and for the best case it's 70-75 as far as i know.

No hope. Things move at a snails pace in police dept. It's two months since IT dept dispatched my PVR letter to DC Hyd. No trace so far!
