apne cag auditor k liye bank po k job chod di, it means this job is better than bank po. I'm working in icici bank as an AM taking 25k pm. Pls guide what shud i choose. Which is better option

I've been selected for the post of Inspector, not Auditor. If I were offered the post of Auditor, I, no doubt, would have stayed back at the bank because bank provides a much better career growth and healthier future prospect to a PO than the CAG would provide an Auditor. Yes, the workload and timings in the case of an Auditor may seem to be appealing but you yourself can imagine the respect and significance a PO or an AM would hold in a bank as compared to that of an Auditor. Simply speaking, a PO or an AM is a Class-I post while an Auditor is not. The biggest advantage you would have being an Auditor is that it's a 'Central Government' post and you'll have more free time than you'd have being a PO, which eventually can be devoted to further studies targeting the IAS or PCS examinations. are bhai koi Use karo RTI CAG walo se pata karo kya problem hai aur exactly kb tk joining aegi?????

Your case is indeed an eye opener. I'd like to advise all our friends through this forum to resign only when they have received the letter of appointment. As SSC and the user dept together, take interminably long time to complete the process, it is advisable to wait till the entire process is completed. IN my case the police verification may take another 3-4 months but there is no problem as I'm already working a central PSU that pays me 40 k per month.

guys no doubt Bank PO is better than nothing. If i had been posted in north india, i would have stayed at bank till i recieve the auditor joining. But i was posted in bangalore whike i am from kanpur. And seriously i dint ever expected this much of delay. Actually there was rule of 3 months prior notice. So it was jan when result was declared and i left after serving for 3 moth in april. I had an idea that by september i would join but that was not the case. The 3 or 4 month in between will be utilised in preparing for cgl 2011 and ya i utilised the time very well and clinched 428.75. Lekin aa pani sar se bahut upar ja chuka h.

Sorry, I gave my opinion thinking that u were selected for ITI. It's hard to decide between Auditor and a PO. Nevertheless Auditor's job will still leave with plenty of time to prepare for other examinations.

Can any one give me info about IB ACIO as i have got the job.....i want to know its training period, job profile, promotion, posting, salary et all... d marks i have got in cgl i shud also get auditor dis year but as joining of CAG is delayed it will not come before 2013. I want to give cgl 2012, if i join IB will it impede my preparatn for cgl 2012.

Hi udan4oldsky dhanyawad. I called up cag office delhi they were saying all auditors will join before 10 feb for sure 100%. Tum bhi ho kya
