Hello puys, I had a query. I had filled up CGL 2014 application form online in January, but I forgot to take print outs of the application form. Now I have seen some people say that print outs of application form are required during document verification process after selection. Is that true? Please reply. I am really desperate at this point.

In the recent re-exam of ssc cgl on 20th july 2014, I think the test form no. 687RK0 has some mistakes in official answer keys especially in DI section of maths. Does anyone else has observed it or I am the idiot who couldn't solve n blaming it on answer keys... 😉

576KM3 wrong ---- {{{41}}} - counted 22 answer is D. {{{43}}}- B and D both are same because in D circles are just touching, no intersection so faulty question bonus marks should be awarded to all candidates. {{{115}}} - ab ye to wrong hai hi. ans is A. {{{116}}} This is little tricky some say 15 some say 16 depending upon how you count. but 15 seems more correct as question talks about 'IN' minutes so if you complete the time in infinitely small manner (calculas style) both boundry points will not come in 30 minutes. as 16th time it will ring after completion of 30 minutes. so whatever way you count either 1st or 16th will not fall in the category of 'in 30 minutes'. Moreover in 30 minutes it bells 16 times so how many times it will bell in 60 minutes??? 32? or 31? But the calculas style method which is more mathematical in nature doesn't fail to this simple logic. in 30 minutes 15 so in 60 minutes 30. {{{89}}} Ink is prepared from? Wikipedia says dye. but there are other substances also which can be used for preparing ink for e.g. Tannin for 'Iron Gall Ink'. but most of the inks are prepared from 'Dye' and he has not asked for some specific ink so answer is A . so guys any more suggestions regarding sending representation??? please comment.......

In Part A (General Intelligence and Reasoning),
Answers of few questions are given incorrect these are as follows:-
(1). QUESTION NO. 1 Answer given in the key is (B), It should be (A) as 112+110 = 222, similarly 442+110= 552.
(2). QUESTION NO. 12 Answer given in the key is (B), but option (A) is also correct as 57 exactly divides 114. Option (B) is also correct as all numbers except 144 are divisible by 19.
(3). QUESTION NO. 35 Answer given in the key is (B), It should be (C) as
The statements are
All vehicles need fuel to run
Bullock carts can run without fuel
Conclusions
1. Bullock cart is not a vehicle.
2. Some vehicles run without fuel.
From the above statements only conclusion (1) follows but conclusion (2) does not follow.
In Part C (Quantitative Aptitude)
Answers of few questions are given incorrect these are as follow:-
(1).Question NO. 109 Sir, Data is insufficient to determine the answer for the question.
(2).Question NO. 141 Sir, The answer for the question after solving is 55/12.
The right option was not present. I marked 65/12 as it was closest and thought it was given as printing mistake.
In Part D (English Comprehension)
Answers of few questions are given incorrect these are as follow:-
(1). Question NO. 169 Sir "Pin Money" means small amount of money which means option (D) is the correct answer. But option (A) is given as correct answer.
(2). Question NO. 183 Sir, A person who collects coins is numismatist. So option (c) is the correct answer but Option (D) is given.
(3). Question NO. 194 Sir, "Excavated" means to dig. So option (D) is the correct answer, but option (B) is given as the answer.
It is a humble request to you sir to kindly check these answers in the answer key and take genuine action on this.
