There is a list of tentative vacancies in ssc cgl 2014 that is doing the rounds on internet these days which says there are about 2000 excise inspector posts for UR category. Anybody who can testify its authenticity. I have mentioned the link below.

Guys, I have a doubt....

Do we have to choose our posting location based on the regional language which we are comfortable with or is it fine to choose any place in India (I know only English (My mother tongue is Telugu), I can understand Hindi but can't speak fluently). Is that a compulsory criteria to choose locations based on the language??

Please someone who know about this respond here...

While applying for SSC, I removed the space between two of the words in my name just to make sure it fits in the space provided while applying online. (My name is little longer). Does it make any issue while verification ?

I have name in SSC CGL Non Interview posts and I have about 18.5 Marks higher than cut off marks .

Are there any chances of getting selected ?

in 2013 , What was the gap in marks of tier 2 qualified ( non interview)  and finally selected candidate ?

Hi Friends...I am a SC candidate and I got 365.25 marks in total (Tier I + Tier II )... Unfortunately I missed the IP cut-off (365.50) meagerly by .25 marks...Actually I want to know my chances of getting an Auditor Post in any office of C&AG, CGDA, CGA & others...So guys please share your opinion with me...I will appreciate your comment...Thx.
