For all those who are on the border of IP list or in the NIP list, let me share my last year result. This will help you ascertaining your position.
Last year cut-off 424.5 (original Wala), and 420 (local wala) .
My mark 424, and I was allocated Auditor in CGDA (with overall around 800 rank in NIP selected list).
You can see the fierce competition for border line person..
PS-This year I am at 474, looking for something better.
What should be my final preference order at 406 UR.... any chance of getting any nip??

A bit confused regarding previous year cut offs
Last year cut off for nip was 401 (UR)
But lowest marks in each category were quite less
like in category @ it was 393
Hows dat possible??
I have put auditor in preference above Tax assistant
