To all those who got Tax Assistant in 2013 CGL & Qualified in 2014 CGL either for IP or for NIP, Please don't fill TA in your preference list this time & skip DEST (Typing Test). It'll help many people in getting job. It won't help you in any way getting TA again as you will surely join only one job.

guys how to prepare for gk for tier1 this year i got 91 marks and in gk i attempted around 10 question out of which 6 were correct 4 worng so i got only around 5 marks so if i could get 20 marks in gk then i could be in good position this year so guys now its just more than 2 months left how should i prepare for gk to get around 20 to 25 marks please help guys because gk frustates me due to which i looses my concentration at the end part of preparation before exam

Hi..I am a SC candidate and got 365.25 marks in SSC CGL 2014...The NIP cut-off is 331.50 and the IP cut-off is 365.50 for SC...A list of vacancies for CGL 2014 is being circulated on facebook and other forums in which the post of Auditor in CGDA and CGA & others is zero... Friends I really want to know what are my chances of getting a post other than Tax Assistant..My typing speed is not good so I can't pass the DEST...Guys I really need a job this year...feeling jittery...please give your feedback...thx.

What is the logic of post-Location allocation in SSC?? If I get a good rank, but not a top rank, & my preference is to work in a location, say Chandigarh, but not necessary in the job of my 1st preference, then how will things be decided. Can I put Location preference 1st and Job preference 2nd ??
