It is Work Work everywhere, whether Examiner, or DA:
I had an opportunity to talk to my friend's dad yesterday. The old fellow has spent 35+ years in employment with CAG, so he knows pretty much every department's functioning as he audits them all.
His observations:
1. TRANSFERs: He said that most jobs see you getting transfered every 2 years making your personal life heywire, especially if you are of the opinion that your kids need to study from a good center (state capital) or if your wife is posted in one location. { My friend is TA in Delhi & got married last week to a girl who is also working in Delih. He also got Excise inspector as per 2013 SSC; But his Dad said there is no point leaving TA as now he has been promoted and his salary is 4200 pay grade & in delhi that is equal to an Exise inspector in some othe state. Moreover Delhi is a great centre for family to settle. So you see, people calculate A LOT}
2. WORK LOAD: It doesn't matter what department you work for - Examiner/DA, you will have lots of work to do. Though you may make money underhand, you will have no time to spend it.
3. Risky: It is getting riskier to make money in these jobs. You have to file the Tax return on all the income you make every year, the property valuation, donations, investments; your's and that your family members. Any major gaps, and you go to Jail and Chakki pising. pising... :)
4. Poor Quality of Work life: Being sarkari departments the quality of work and people around you will give you headaches. If you feel that you are remotely more capable or can do more hardwork and deserve a better place, then go for it now.
5. Home Posting: Home posting is a misnomer (except for Delhi), as each region is divided into 3 states. (e.g. Chandigarh doesn't mean just Chd, but also the entire Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, J&K). So, don't feel that your life is settled if you get home. Posting is a must.
It did clear a lot of air around my perception of these jobs. Next time I intend to talk to an Examiner of 2008 batch and wanna write about his experience as I am in 2 minds about it.
One thing more, the joining will easily take upto an year, since my friend of 2013 SSC hasn't got his joining. Every thing is sequential. So, wait till March-June next year for joining and prepare well for any other exam you have.

ip people will b considered for nip right!
m on border so my chances are more for nip,n i dont want it to b cancelled on account f some mistake,thats why need to know that is there a seprate procedure for ip qualified students for getting nip,os once we attend interview we will b considered
