I (hailing from Varanasi) have done my graduation in 2012 and since then have been preparing for UPSC. I did write mains this year but could not go through. Gave SSC and have secured 466 marks and is aiming CSS for UPSC prep. Bur recently I have received -ve feedbacks about CSS. People in it have been complaining of long hours of sitting and biometric attendance and pressure as well. If I am to aim UPSC is it wise enough to go for CSS or is there a better choice? (Gave only SSC apart from UPSC and is financially bound to do a job)
Friends..any idea when is the last date for interviews to get over in all region? I am from SR and i just saw postponement notice in sr website. For us they were scheduled from 16th june to 2nd july initially. We even received call letters by post. But now they have postponed the interview.
Its mentioned in the Interview call letter that the date of publication of requisite certificates should be invariably mentioned therein, or else we need to obtain a separate certificate from the competent authority. Now , I don't have any date mentioned on Graduation certificate and mark sheet. What about u guys?

I received my interview call letter, but there is one point mentioned therein which sounds conflicting to me.
"Inclusion of any candidate in any of the list of posts for which he/she has not opted will not confer any right on consideration of his/her candidature for any of the post for which he/she had not exercised option."
Please enlighten me if you have any idea about that.
