friends I have Two doubts regarding dest...If multiple passages given...what is the procedure to start new passage from old passage....does we have to enter "enter+tab" after first passage or any other format...and also if we have to start first passage does we have to enter "tab"first before entering text?

hello guys, done with interview in SR, i did mention CSS and TA in my options form... i collected the hall ticket for CPT, which is on 30th... but now i dont want to attend that... can i skip the test and still be eligible for other options i mentioned??
In 2013 there were 2950 UR approx vacancy in NIP ............and the last one who got NIP TA ko chor ke was at 408.50 which was 16 marks less than the IP cut off 424.50 .................this year NIP POST excluding TA is 1825 UR.............so NIP cut off excluding TA should be 9.89 less than IP cut off ........take it 9.50 .............ie 417 UR..............bahut bura hua to 420 ja sakta hai.........usse jyada nahi....................

Average Interview marks in CGL2013 is 52 So Final Cut off for any Interview Post is 484(432+52)
Now Cut off for Different Posts
I will give Equal importance to Examiner and ITI due to different merits and demerits
so total 655 UR seats(222ITI+433Examiner) and cut off is 520 for Examiner and ITI
for MEA,CVC,AEO,Railway(around 100 seats) cut off more than 520-530 above
Cut off for Preventive Officer will 510(458+52) as of now 1100(349po+655+100) seats occupied
Now cut off for excise will be 488(436+52) and total number of seats ccupied is 3400(2291CEI+1100)
Now Cut off for CSS will be484(433+52)
for post like CBI and Postal inspectr or other assistant posts cut will be 505-510

Expecting Excise in Andhra Pradesh.
first one to get called from 2nd panel in Bangalore. whole process is smooth and everyone is cordial. Interview panel came at 10AM sharply. 3 Men, 1 woman. Chairman was very good. They have asked me to introduce myself. question followed are why SSC after 5 years of IT Blah blah. After that they have asked some technical and GK questions. Even though I am from Electrical they have asked Maths related questions mostly. It seems professor is from maths background. No questions asked from hobbies , State Related or anything. overall it was good except technical.
Fingers crossed. How many marks I can expect guys!!

How much can I score in Ppt after these mistakes :
Bahar wala box ni bnaya
Andar double box ki jagah single box hee bnaya
Bullet k baad text ko align krna tha, align toh kiya but gap bilkul kam rakha
Text cross-check ni kiya,possible h ki 2-3 typo error ho.
Font modifications, footer,shading, correct bullets, heading, subheading sab tik h...

take original documents and call letter given at the time of interview (although they are not checking them)

important points to keep in mind for cpt
Typing>> Length of passage was as usual but this time passage was tricky as it contains many CAPITAL letter in middle of lines, many ? and comma (,) but no numerical values. One most important point is an entire line was repeated in passage given so take care of it while typing and re check your passage to avoid this kind of mistake after completing it. Finally check space in starting of paragraph (Tab) and space after one paragraph.
Excel>>It was the most easy part of CPT common question absolute increase/decrease, percentage increase/decrease and total. Take care of numerical values given although not very lengthy but given in decimal format like 110.1 Second most important thing is to insert Header file path on one side and time/date on another right hand side. Third take care of data given in first row or heading row as it has data in different lines but in same cell. Here you need to use wrap text or you can use alt+enter to go to next line in same cell. Fourth and most important font type (usually they are giving Georgia) bold/italic/centered/underlined etc. , font size, colouring cells as given and alignment(left or right or centre).
PPT>>Lengthy in terms of typing so you need to type a little bit fast there was a Title, Heading, Sub headings(bullets). Font used here was again Georgia but different font size for title, heading and sub headings. Learn how to insert footer with time/date, name(middle) and roll number(right most side). Font was Victoria for footer and font size was given. You need to know background fill option for heading and subheading. Heading and subheading was given in double line box and entire ppt we need to capture in a single box so if you are not familiar with these options(how to insert double line (outline) and entire ppt in a single box) you may caught in trouble. Finally re check your ppt for font size, any error while typing and bold italic underline(font type) and alignment.
