guys i am new for ssc cgl pls tell me the exam marks distribution

Hi everyone...

its the first time i hav cleared cgl... couldnt clear it on 2013

I am in UR category and from a link i got there were abt 9765 vacancies overall in UR catgory...(2012)

bt these are reported vacancies.... right??

i think abt 25-30% wont b filled...

so there might be only abt 6500 vacancies filled each year

this year 69121 candidates have passed cgl with score above 96.50 (ur+reservations... from write up in ssc)

ie abt 10% of UR category will only make up to the final list...

Am I right in assuming this way??

is the notifcation out for tier I 2015?

CGL 2013  FINAL RESULT ANNOUNCED

Hi all!!

Hope you're all doing good!

Need little help..

today i visited different coaching institutes for Bank ,ssc and other government exams(NEW DELHI). This is how it turned out to be :

1. Career launcher - 5 days a week 2 hours everyday( both the courses together)

2. paramount : 5 days a week 6 hours every day(3 for bank 3 for ssc)

3. Career Power- 5 days a week 4 hours every day(2 for Bank 2 for SSC)

4.Bsc Academy: 5 days a week 6 hours every day(3+3 funda)

Now this is really confusing CL says they prepare for both type of exams together after 2-3 months they separate and cover those topics which are not common.Other places say both are different and cannot be learned together!!!

ANY SUGGESTIONS HELP!!!!!!

Shortcut to find square of a number between 69-100.

Squaring of a number between 69 to 100. (Squares upto 31 should be memorized by heart)

For e.g 73, 89, 96
Let the input be 96

Note: Answer will be a four digit number. _ _ _ _

1. Find the difference between 100 and the input number.
(Here it is 100-96 = 4)

2. Now subtract the above calculated difference from the input number itself. I.e. 96-(difference from 100) = 96-4 = 92. This makes the first two digits of the answer. So answer is of the form 92_ _ .

3. Now square the difference calculated in step 1. It is 4^2=16.
This makes the last two digits of the answer.

Hence the answer becomes 9216.

Note: In situations where the square of the difference is a three digit number, then move the carry to the next place. For e.g.89^2.
1. Difference from 100 . (100-89 = 11)

2. Subtract above difference from the input number. ( 89-11 = 78) Ans of the form 7 8 _ _

3. Now if you observe, the square of difference.
11^2 = 121 (a 3 digit number). Shift the carry 1 to the next place. So the answer becomes 7 (8+1) 2 1 = 7921.
