To all, this is not a fake news.
I got selected in Chennai Region as TA. Got attestation form dated 18/06/2018(received 22/06/2018). The relevant documents were to be sent before 09/07/2018, sent before that.
Called today at office of the principal chief commissioner of income tax, Tamilnadu at 04428338383. He insisted me to contact 04428338119.
The person replying the latter mentioned that our attestation forms are being scrutinized in respective departments. This takes around 30-40 days .
Also said that next step will be sending the appointment letter, containing medical formalities. Medical formalities need not be done at chennai zone, can be done from own zone as well. The person expects the joining letters to be dispatched from last week of August.
