Two workers A and B working together completed job in 5 days. Had A worked twice as efficiently as he actually did and B worked 1/3 as he actually did, the work would have been completed in 3 days. A alone could complete the work in?

Need Assistance. I'm 27 but I can't apply for posts with age limit 27 because date of reckoning is august. However there are still few posts applicable. Please tell me which one should I put on top priority when filling form. My preference: I'm a engg graduate. I want a desk job. Metro posting will be good. My concern is regarding the date of reckoning for the latest notification.According to the DoPT the date of reckoning for the exams being conducted during the first half of the year must be jan 1st as against aug 1st according to the notification.
This is my last chance for most of the posts if the date is jan 1st.
