hey puys and pirls ! ........... today's topic is related to Compound interest which always gives a question in either pre or mains ......100% ayega CI se koi na koi ....

those who are not aware how to do it quickly and simple way , can use this : -

sabse pahli baat SI aur CI me difference :- ( SI works simply multiplying interest rate * time => 10% for 4 yrs means 40% interest or your amount will be 140% finally ) ...... ab CI har saal final amount par lagta hain ...isliye bolte hain ki PF na nikale 😉 😉 ..... successive interest maan lo .... agar aaj 100 rs 10% par diye to 1 saal baad 110 uske agle saal 110*1.1 => 121 and so on ....

formula for Ci => P(1+r/100)^n ........

now , how to calculate CI :-

lets start taking 12000 rs for 10% for 4 yrs ??

now it's hectic to do with 12000*(1.1)^4 ..... too much calculation 😞 😞 ...

 now , we do it simply .. :-

1st yr =>  10% of 12000=1200 ...

2nd yr => 10% of 12000=1200 .....................10% of 1200 =120

3rd yr => 10% of 12000=1200 .....................2*above term => 240(upar wale ka double) ..... 10% of 120 => 12 ...

4th yr => 10% of 12000 .=1200......................3*120 =360(sabse upar ka 3 times) ...... 10% of (120+240)=36 ..............10% of 12 rs => 1.2 rs ..

now total => 1200*4+(120+240+360)+(12+36)+1.2 => 5569.2 ......

jab is type se karoge ki kaise CI work karta hain toh easy rhega .....

agar yaha intersest 5% hota to waha 12000*1.05^4 karna padhta lekin yaha 10/2% karlo aur yaha 1200*4/2 + 1/4*(120+240+360)+1/8*(12+36)+1/16(1.2) = 2586.0.75 ....... baaki karke dekho copy pen utha ke ............ it's very useful when interest is calculated and too much when comparison or difference is taken between CI and SI ( in that case , ignore first part of every step ( yrs))

how to calculate unit digit quickly .............. use the property of 4 and you will get it within secs ........... (it may come or not in CGL but 50% chances to get in exam )

lets start with the property of number 4 .......... how to consider whether the number will be divisible by 4 or not ( only integer case) ....

let a number with digits abc or kabc or pkabc etc ..... here ignore all digits except last two digits bc.....

now if last two digits will be divisible by 4 then number will be divisible by 4 ...

now we come to the topic unit digit ... the last digit is called unit digit ... (ab koi tenth digit na poochna kyunki paper me nai ata aur ayega toh main chor dunga 😂 )

a^(4n) type number or a^4n+1 or a^4n+2 or a^4n+3 ..

now , remember the positions at every cycle like 2=> 2,4,6,8 ... 3=>3,9,7,1 .... (5,6,1,0 remains unchanged at any power ) ...4=>4,6,4,6.....7=>7,9,3,1.... 8=>8,4,2,6..... 9=> 9,1,9,1

now example :- 268479^568

soln :- now start with this trick ... consider only 568 and consider only last two digits which are 6 and 8 .... 68 is divisible by 4 ...

hence number in the form 4n ... so , 268479^568 => unit digit => 1 ...

next ex:- 268476^5633 .... 6 remain changed so not do any calculation and it will be 6 ....

next eg:- 268572^546 => 46 is not divisible by 4 but near number 44 or 48 is divisible so take 44+2... or 4n+2 type ... hence .... 2,4,6,8....4 is the unit digit ......

next eg:- 44842393^36473 => 73=> 72+1 ... 4n+1 type .... hence 3,9,7,1.... 3 is the unit digit

PS:- likhne me koi galti ho sakti hain .......... if any , comment here ..... 🙏
