Information regarding Combined Graduate Level

Examination, 2016

http://ssc.nic.in/SSC_WEBSITE_LATEST/notice/notice_pdf/Important%20information-11.4.2016.pdf

The tentative vacancies at the end of first round of collection of vacancies by the Commission was 3815.

Some bonafide candidates have thereafter approached the Commission seeking clarification on whether 3815 is the final vacancy position for CGLE, 2016 and if so, the reasons for the reduction in the number of vacancies compared to the previous years. In response to these specific queries, it is clarified that the said vacancy position of 3815 is an interim and tentative figure, at the end of the first round. Hereafter, the number of vacancies will go up as many major departments are yet to report their vacancy position for the said examination to the Commission. Accordingly, the final vacancy position will only be available at the time of Tier-II examination. Further, some candidates have also sought information about the expected date of declaration of result of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2015.
