Vacany of JSO on the official site of mospi has marginally increased to 178 as of June 1, 2017.

Last year jso me July month me vacancies 466 se 775 ho Gyi thi. Aur is saal bhi 1100 approx promote hue h aur kuch retire bhi hue h .I think vacancies 500+ hongi this year. Wait for August month mospi jso vacancies as these are only 178 as of now.

My score is 515.75 OBC including stat paper, Is there any chance of my final selection and increase in JSO vacancy? R all the 124 vacancies for CGL 2017 or it can be distributed in CGL 2018?

Final cut off for jso considering 178 vacancies. 600 for yr.570 for obc

The candidates are shortlisted in 1:6 ratio for JSO every year. So you can expect about 800 vacancies. Cutoff will be around 540 UR.

if tier 4 is conducting in nov/dec, then the number of vacancies for jso will increase as there will be a update in number of vacancies in july, aug, sep, oct,nov..

Therefore there are 5 months time, so duing this time the number of vacancies will surely increase to nearly 600....

1)1100 jso promoted to sso...

2)there is census of 2021 to do survey...

Tier 4 nov/dec me gaya... To jso vacancy badhni chahiye bhai log?? Aur ye tier 3 ka result date ki kuchh khabar hai kya??

Got 484.5/600, jso 66 aao 85 , age 31, obc (not eligible for group c), avg t3......Wil I get any post.
