How many of you had participated in this qmaths survey after T2 results. From it one can assume that there would be atleast 400 people scoring above 500 in jso.
Hello guys mai kafi dino se yaha post padh hu aur discussion dekh raha hu about ta or po over jso. Kuch points share karunga from my common sense and observation point of view se 1- ta to sta banne ke liye departmental exam hota hai tabhi aap 2-3 sal me ban skte ho iski possibility sirf metro cities me hai. Y &Z CLASS cities me 6 yrs bhi lag jate hai hence such promotion expectations are very rare. Not every one can get this. From here one can conclude that X city me TA ke liye minimum 525-530 marks chahiye hi honge. 2- TA ki bhi to posting non hindi state me hogi, linguistic problem to use bhi face karna padega sirf jso ko thore na. 3- let jso dont get promoted for next 6 years and TA get promoted to STA after 5 years even then there would be at least a difference of 4000 in their salary as basic pay of jso is higher so increments will also be higher. 4-JSO get promoted to 4600gp in 6-8 yr and TA in 10 year(considering average not talking about exception cases) after getting 3 promotions. At max TA can reach upto AC in practical scenario. What u guys are seeing on net is hierarchy of a department that does not mean that a 2400gp can attain that. Because a newly appointed ITI with 2 years of experience is more valuable that a TA promoted to ITI after 7-8 years of experience. 5- lets say u have scored well enough for jso and u can get jso in some favourable regions like hindi zones. And then there is a slight chance that u can get TA and u applied for TA and some how managed to clear cutoff but can u get location of ur choice? Lower scores mostly get posting in J&K , northeast, south etc. Because a good score will never opt for these locations untill and unless he/she belongs there. 6-Work load will we more or less same whether mental load in TA or physical load in jso. Jso gets extra allowance if he has to trevel for more that 30km. And one more thing no one is going to beat u jst because u are asking for some data. You are an officer atleast as ur designation says. And before that u r are goverment employee. If u misbehave u will face consequences. It doesn't matter at what position ur are working. 7-Assess your marks till tier 3 and then think what u want, where u want and what can u get. Now matter how slow your promotion is salary wise jso will be superior. As its basic pay is high and after 20 years you will be definitely at 5400gp in jso but in TA it may take more more time and that would be highest gp of TA. Hope u guys got my points

Last year AAO had 1000 vacancies no of qualified candidates is 4.7k now this year it will be the same for JSO also

#SSC_CGLE_2017 Latest RTI Reply regarding JSO Vacancy. Dear friends 124 vacancy was reported to SSC as on 14.11.2017. when SSC ask further vacancy update the figure will definitely change. Before disclosing the vacancy to SSC, MOSPI will not give us the updated vacancy. So be patient and have faith on SSC.
