I would like to share one thinG, may be most of the ppl know it ,, how to guess square root of a given no . With in 3- 5 sec ........ 1. Check unit digit - 1- 1 ,, 2-4 ,, 3-9 ....an so on ,,,, now we have ( 2 , 8 ) , ( 4,6) , (1,9) (3,7) which give same unit digit after squaring ........ take a ño 3969 - last digit is 9 it means unit digit of square root must be '3' now take two no.s from left side i.e. 39 --- 6^2 < 39 < 7^2 ( 39 , 36 se bada & 49 se chhota is liye ye 6 ki range me hai , hence digit at 10th place of square root will be 6 it means 3969 is square of 63 , ( 2)-- now if unit digit is 1or 9 ,,,,,,, take 6561 unit digit is 1 ,,,, unit digit of square root maybe 1 or 9 .... 2 ďigits from left 65 ,,,,,65 is close to 64 ( 8^2 ) hence unit digit must be 1 and 6561 is square of 81 ,,,,,,, ,,,,,7921 ,, 79 is close to 81 hence unit digit must be 9 ,,, ( 7921 = 89^2) similarly in case of 2,8 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, (3) --- now 4,6 ,,,,,,,we know, 75^2 = 7*8 , 5^2 = 5625 ,,,now take 5476 ,,, 54 <56 ,,,hence unit digit ll be 4 (5475 = 74^2) ,,,, 5776 ,,, 57>56 hence unit digit ll be 6 (5776 = 76^2) similarly in case of 3,7
