last year CBEC posts are 5000 (IP & NIP) more than this year tentative vacancy,, definitely they are going to increase at least 3500

"I cleared SSC CGL exam 2013 and got CSS.
My 8 weeks long training was held at Dr. MCR HRD institute, Hyderabad with other 94 officer trainees. Usually the training period is for 3 months but due to acute need of assistants in Central Secretariat the duration was truncated by 1 month.
The institute is one of the best and biggest administrative training institute of India which can house 700 officer at a time be it IRS, central civil services, state administration etc.
During the training, we were broadly taught things under two modules, office management and rules orientation.
Our day usually began waking 5:30 in the morning with 1 hour of yoga classes followed by breakfast and then lectures from 9:30 to 4:30 in the evening. After the mandatory daily session, we spent our time in various sports and gymnasium. Apart from the specified modules we had a number of sessions on soft skills development. It was an enriching experience. Most of the post lunch sessions were kind of boring and officers either bunked class or found napping on the chairs.
Food: As 80% of OTs were from north India, it was quite difficult for us to adjust to the native food. However, Hyderabad being a popular place for non vegetarian foodies, I was able to spend my 7 weeks stay quite comfortably. The food served in the mess was not of standard quality.
As our posts demand to be a good reader and problem solver, we had to present presentation on a couple of times for topics like book review, where to find what situation, be escort for the faculties taking lectures etc. These session helped me quite a bit to shed fear of public speaking.
I was very fortunate to share the hostel with AIR 1 CSE 2014, Ira Singhal ma'am. The day news broke out of her topping the exam she was there in the campus for her training of IRS. I had the privilege to talk to her and gain some insights about the exam.
Village attachment: We were expected to spend few days in villages also, the sole purpose of the activity to make us understand the villagers' life, their day to day struggle, expectation from government. We had to sleep on the floor, food was made from not-so-clean water, talking and understanding the villagers was another difficult task because of language barrier. The villagers were cordial, greeted us wherever we went. I was able to see rising the sun couple of time which I have never did while living in Delhi.
I also learnt some Telugu phrases to express gratitude like "meru manchi vaaru" (You are a noble person), "Me peru emiti" ( What is your name) etc
Study Tour: The best part of training was to visit tourists spot and explore new places. We sang to our loudest voice as we traveled, danced till we faint and laughed till our stomach ached. It was once in a lifetime experience for me ( i haven't traveled extensively), my bonding with my friends grew stronger.
We visited ISRO centre, Bangalore, Pykara Lake, Ooty, Mysore Palace, Bandipur National Park, Highest Peak of South India....
Personal take on whole training: I have never been outside my house on my own for such a long duration, I have never experienced a hostel life. But this training was a stepping milestone for me. I had to wash, iron my clothes which I had never did. It made me realise the importance of family and how cosy the environment is back home. I was on my own when I was suffering from food poisoning. I made some wonderful friends whom I believe will stay close in distant future. I had some memorable moments which I cannot share here, but will cherish them for a long time.
After coming back to Delhi in the month of July, I never thought I would say this but I missed Hyderabad."
Puys we all know that mostly SSC doesn't take pains to make corrections as per representation sent by candidates (especially in English). And we all are lossing 10-12 marks in English. not to mention that even .25 marks can make a huge difference, as it did in cgl14 for me. So we should send grievances in huge numbers to ssc/dopt. So that the lethargic SSC come out of hibernation and strat taking the representation sent by candidates seriously. I have sent such grievance on dopt's fb page. You also do the same. It may help us. I am posting the letter I sent with link of dopt fb page in another post. You either copy that and post on dopt page or write at your own.
I have a serious doubt. After 2 months of exam ssc uploads answer key and asks for representation. It means if there are issues with the keys, it will correct itself and evaluate all the OMR sheets( appr 3 lakh) again. It be another month time consuming. How could we expect results in 10 days?????
Post this letter on fb page of dopt Link is- https://mbasic.facebook.com/DOPTNewDelhi/?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C2953447940 Letter- Subject- application regarding discrepancies in answer keys of SSC cgl tier2 exam 2015. sir, I am a SSC cgl 2015 candidate and want to drag your attention towards the irresponsible behaviour of staff selection commission. every year this commission conduct exam for combined graduate level exam and issues answer keys after every exam. from last two year I have been observing that some answers given in the answers keys are wrong which is not big issue because SSC asks representation from the candidates for possibly wrong answers or any typing error in a particular question. but the irony is that after receiving that representation of wrong answers, no pains are taken either to correct the answer keys or the omr sheets to be evaluated as per the rectified answer keys. and this makes a huge impact on a sincere candidate's selection. I have suffered because of this in cgl 14 exam. and it look inevitable again in the cgl 15 exam as there are 10-12 question's answer are given wrong in English papers answer key and 1-2 in mathematics paper. so I beg you to ensure that SSC remain sensible while evaluating omr sheets this time. so that a hard working student may not become victim of commission's lethargic mechanism. and I sure that your government is committed to ensure justice and interests of a citizen of this country. thanks you :)
