What was cut off for SSC chsl descriptive paper 2014 particularly???.... I am not able to find it on internet.....kindly tell the cut for only descriptive test ........
Guys, is there a cutoff for interview too? I have a good t1+t2 score but dreading the interview since I never had to face an interview panel before.
Forget about vacancies, previous year cut offs
Be hopeful for following acc. to ur marks
435+ : Interview call + 100% auditor
430+ : 80% Interview call + 90% auditor + 100% Jr Acc.
425+ : 50% Interview call (if vac increases) + 100% Jr. Acc.
420+ : 100% TA + 60% (Jr. Acc + UDC )
415+ : 100% TA
410+ : 50 % TA
405+ : TA chances only if vacancies increases

Does experience help in SSC CGL interviews? I have 3 years and 8 months of experience (including 3 months in govt job)
There were 2400 UR EXCISE Inspector post last.....and most of them are going to appear again in cgl 15.......so this term only 650 post UR of excise....so good chances of Excise as less preferred this term and cutoff going low....?? Food for thought

i don't have any job experience but have motivating story, story is long but motivating i hope for some aspirants.
In 2011 i was in final year of graduation (from ccs university notorious for study)
i started a small business and after completing my graduation I thrown my book thought ( ab to study se picha chuta ab book ko haath ni lagana ). But after one year i realized that how hard is to run a business and i lost 5lakh rupees & my father's hard earned money it was a big loss for a middle class family.Then i retrieve my book and mind in 2012 started preparing for competitive exam but bad luck was always with me1. In 2012 i passed ssc MTS exam but failed in qualify exam .2. In 2012 +12 exam passed pre and called for typing test (in LDC passed the final cut off but failed in typing whereas in DEO passed the typing but failed to cross the final cut off)3. In 2012 CGL qualify for main but couldn't survive further4. In 2013 CGL scored 447 but exam got cancelled 5. In re exam scored 450+ but in main exam i filled omr of English paper wrong got zero marks.6.In 2013 take another BSNL JAO exam and selected for Banglore region as OBC candidate because now JAAT were in OBC but after a month of happiness govt replenish the reservation now i was again unemployed.7. In 2013 CPO scored well but not being physically fit disqualified in medical.Till than my all friends have been selected in govt job and i never give up and was again ready for next exam8. In 2014 i scored 449 + 58 and got CEX INS.9. In 2015 i scored 460 and not going for interview .I remembered my father once said when I started preparing for exam that if i selected for Bank clerk he would be very happy and it will be best compensation for our business loss.So never give up if you have caliber you will got success one day. best of luck.sorry for bad English as above said studied from ccs university.

Here is prime example of how people because of their FEAR OF LESS MARKS predict too HIGH CUTOFF for exams.....this is few people talking about CGL 14 or 13 on FB

Joel Davaran- This time there are around 7k posts, so they'll call at least 10k for interview. This will definetly lower the cut off but not much for general category. For general min. 435 for I.p post@sanchit CSS is not like before now like work pressure, timings and all. any input from someone in the department?

Joel Davaran- Lower in sense that this time paper is much easier as compared to the last time, many are saying that cut off would cross 440-450. In that sense it won't be that much. And last year there was less competition compared to this year, and also most of the cgl13 selected students, around 5k, also took the exam and are in the competition. If you analyse the paper and take average acc. To difficulty level, average of good student who has made effortPre-115Maths-165English- 150I.e total 430.

Joel Davaran- This is the least expected cut off, to get good post, 4600gp, one must have at least 465+ in general category.
