Done with my interview yesterday...

They are accepting only time bound OBC certificate.....they are rejecting the rest......I mean, remaining obc candidates who don't have certificate issued between 12-6-2012 and upto 9-12-2015 are being considered under UR category

What is Inter Commissionerate Transfer (ICT)?

ICT is like a transfer which can be done on Inter Zone... like if anyone is posted in Mumbai can be transferred to any zone other than Mumbai... This is a purely request basis process.. nobody is transferred on ICT without his request or consent.... This facility was earlier available to Group A officers only... but in 2009 CBEC Board has allowed this for Group B, C & D officers only on Spouse basis, Compassionate ground & Handicapped ground.. In 2011 CBEC Board has made ICT available to all the Group B, C & D officers... The main conditions of ICT is you can apply after completion of your probation in your parent zone (though in many circumstances i saw people applying before their Probation to be completed)... Second your application should be accepted by Chief Commissioners of both Zones...i.e. Parent zone and where you want to be got transferred on ICT ....If your parent Zone Chief Commissioner dont want you to relieve or to be transferred then you cant do anything if he dont forward your appliacation to the other zone...once your application to be forwarded to the Zone where you want to be transferred then also there is possiblilty that your application may not accepted... if the Chief Commissioner of Zone where you want to go say that they have no requirement of officers on ICT basis then your ICT will not be accepted... One important thing we should remember that ICT is not our right it is a facility provided to us for the genuine people who find it extremely hard to survive away from their homestate... many people ask me that they in how much time they will got transferred to their homestate... then i want to say that it is very tough to get ICT ... the no of people who got ICT is less than 5% in previous years... so if your really want to be transferred on your home state than you should appear again in CGL. The people whose wife/husband is Central/State Govt. employee will be given top priority with Handicapped candidates .... Spouse ground will not be available to the people whose wife/husband work in Private company, PSUs, Banks (I am not 100% confirm about banks) or any other organisations... Normal People who have no ground can get ICT but it is very very tough and if you want to come home state desperately then keep preparing for CGL.

so, guys give your preference of posts carefully especially for those who want home state desperately.
