Job Profile of Auditor (CAG) :
1.Posting- always in state capital or in big city.
2.Working hours- 9 to 5.30 ( when posting is in office) and one have to follow it strictly until probation period ends whereas when one is on field audit, timing is flexible.
3.Work load- In most sections it is low (3 to 4 hours) but there are a few sections in every office where work laod is very high and you will hardly get 1-2 hrs free time.
4.Salary- Initially it will be b/w 26k and 28k (At present).
5.Field Posting- One will have to go for field audit for 1-2 months in a year. Generally after completion of probation period.( But in my case it was different).
6.Respect- When you are in office, there will not be much respect as everyone there is auditor. Also you will be in bottom line hierarchy (So don't expect much respect in office) but when you will go for field audit , you will be much respected and you will feel the real power of CAG (Lunch bhi free milega 😃 aur TA, DA milega tour ka wo alag)
7.Leave- One can easily take 1-2 days leave in a month.
8.Promotions- After completion of probation period (means after 2-3 years) you can sit for SAS exam for AAO which is conducted by UPSC. Even after clearing this exam you will have to wait for 2-3 years to become AAO.(Also depnds upon vacancy in your office)
9.Extra Income- It is only possible during field audit. (there is good scope for this). Also depend upon your AAO and A.O. that how honest or corrupt he is. One can get it in lakhs (Agar bada ghapla pakad liya to) . Personally I am strictly against this extra income or black money.
10.Transfers- There are rarely any transfer from one state to other as of now.(Spouse ground can be helpful for it or mutual transfer)

फिर वजह क्या हुई, इंतज़ार की..................
यूपीएससी का दर्द यूपीएससी का रिजल्ट आया है। कैमरे लग चुके हैं। टोपर्स के घर टीवी चैनलों की छापेमारी शुरू हो चुकी है। उनकी सफलता का राज जानने के लिए। वो भी अपने घर के सादे से ड्राइिन्ग रूम में इन्टरव्यू देते हुए 'कन्सिस्टेंसी और फण्डामैन्टल्स' पर ध्यान देने को सफलता का मूल बताएंगे। और हाँ फैमिली को बडा सा थैंक्यू कहेंगे सपोर्ट के लिए। फिर शुरू होगा देशभर में इनसे प्रेरणा लेकर फटाफट ऐनसीआरटी की किताबें खरीदने का दौर। आत्मविशवास के उबाल आयेंगे। कुछ कर गुजर जाने के जज्बे जोर मारेंगे। फिर कयीं लौंडे दिल्ली कूच करेंगे। और सबसे पहले दाढ़ी न कटवाने का प्रण लेगें। मुखर्जीनगर अब जोश से लबरेज हो जायेगा। इश्कबाजी और फेसबुक से जरा परहेज। फिर एकसाल की जी तोड़ मेहनत के बाद कुछ का लिस्ट में नाम आयेगा और कुछ घटी हुई ऐनर्जि और बढी हुई फ्रस्टेशन के साथ दिल्ली में अपनी बुकिंग जारी रखेंगे। यूपीएससी की रगडमपेलिस में आपकी बढी हुई बेतरतीब दाढ़ी ही आपकी सिन्सेयरिटी का परिचायक होती है। फ्रस्टेशन उम्र और दाढ़ी तीनों बढ़ती जाती हैं। फिर पीछे से कोई तीन चार साल वाला जूनियर लौंडा पहले ही अटेम्प्ट में ठीक ठाक रैंक पेल देता है तब फ्रस्टेशन का इन्डेक्स एक अंक और उपर खिसक जाता है। जीवन में आध्यात्म की ऐंट्री होने लगती है। पैसे की तंगी दोहरी मार करती है दिल्ली जैसे चमकदार शहर में। दुनियाभर की जियोग्राफी और पोलिटी अंदर ही अंदर जोर मारती है। लौंडे विरक्त होने लगते हैं दुनियादारी से। और फिर शुरू होता है दिल्ली की गलियों से पलायन। एक सपने के पीछे एक उम्र खप जाती है। और फिर हम दाढ़ी साफ करके यूपीएससी के तिलिस्म को तोड़ इधर उधर सेट हो जाते हैं। मैं चाहता हूँ टीवी पर एक इंटरव्यू इस तरह से थके हुए बुझे हुए लेकिन मेहनती पलायनवादियों का भी जरूर होना चाहिए इस यूपीएससी की संध्या पर। सिर्फ टोपर्स ही सब जानते हों एैसा नही। 😀 #रिजल्टवालीशाम
