I think all of us are making foolish predictions beacuse the case is handed over to CBI. . So our CGL tier 2 final result will be published only after CBI report. . How much time does it take? So first of all Plz predict this if anyone can .

My analysis is for getting a non-interview post for gen. category:
1. Tier 1 cut off was 126.5 but more candidates had chance to seat in tier 2.. so competition has increased a lot..
2. Also we have to consider the different AAO and CSO cut offs.. so many candidates who scored 150+ in tier 1 will go there...
3. 130+ was the number of first 150000 candidates (according to previous cut off not revised).. so I should consider 130 marks as base.. you need to have 140 marks in tier 1 for advantage..
4. The number of seats in lower-most posts will decide cut off not the previous year's vacancy.. so that's an important point.. This year the cut off (lower limit) might be a bit higher than predicted but will SURELY NEVER go beyond the previous year's cut off..
5. the math's number has reduced at least 20-25 marks than previous year for many candidates... I believe that the toppers (not one or two toppers decide anything rather a GROUP OF toppers decide high limit) mostly will score 178-180 in average..
6. for English I think that the paper was more or less like previous year but the questions were jumbled which not only has reduced the monotony of students but also has reduced the speed and concentration a lot.. so overall the negatives were balanced with the positives in this paper.. The vocab section was a bit tricky .. idioms , one words and even synonyms-antonyms were hardly repeated... That will reduce at least 3-5 marks...
7. so Finally speaking, the cut off will be approximately 400-405 (do not expect less than this) to select 35000 students as more students gave the exam...
8. for non- interview posts one has to score at least 430+ in total... and for interview posts one has to score at least 460+ to survive in the last stage..
9. Finally speaking that it is a mere guess but the answer keys will decide everything.. People often say that English was easier than the last year's English but I don't think it will be that much easy..

Almost 95% of the students are posting 110-140 marks in maths tier 2, and english and tier 1 scores are good. So I think there is no need to worry if we got a decent score in tier 1 and tier 2 english. . How many of you agree with me. .
