There were two good things- many aspirants may say the only two things- which happened in SSC during April 2013 to Dec 2015. One was computerised documents verification and the second was obtaining revised preference for posts during document verification.
Both these welcome changes were followed till recently. At the time of declaration of result of skill tests of CHSL 2015 the notice clearly stated that fresh options for posts will be allocated during DV. However, a few days ago this was rescinded and instead detailed options for departments for posts preferred in the original application are obtained now.
I do not know why the unfortunate candidates of CHSL 2015 are being subjected to such 'special' treatment.
Uniformity in procedures is necessary for all examinations. Simply because SSC has been harassed by court cases in this particular examination it will be unfortunate if this is being done. Maybe someone in SSC wants court cases on such seemingly arbitrary. Decision. My advice to the candidates is that they should not even for a moment consider this.
I would like to urge the Chairman, SSC, to reconsider this issue.
If this is the forerunner we to change in procedure, well we will have to leave it to the wisdom of the Chairman, SSC

If a candiadte's post pref order is PDELC and that candidate fails to meet the qualifying marks for PDE resp., then will he be called for L or C?
