                                       SHARMA COMMITTEE REPORT

Final Analysis Regarding Major Factors in CHSL 16

Thanking to all members,

Bindu Kalapaka,

TheSgyro,

and myself, SHRISHYAM SHARMA...                               24-12-2017 11.15PM

This report doesn't contain any prediction exactly but probability...

Major factors which may affect cut off for LDC/PA/SA/CC posts:

I. Speed in DEST: This time Deo CAG speed is 50wpm. And total Deo CAG seats are only 500. But total 5,106 candidates are available for DEST in which total 500 will be recommended for safe job and remaining  4,606 candidates will be excluded from Deo posts.

Last time Deo CAG speed was 27wpm. And total Deo CAG seats were 1,003. But total 21,729 candidates were available for DEST in which total 1,003 candidates were recommended for safe job and remaining 20,726 candidates were out from DEST. It might be possiblity that few of them would have been good speed and selected for LDC/PA/SA for last year.

In short cut, this time total remaing 4,606 candidates will have good opportunity to take over the LDC or other seats because they were already prepared for 50wpm. Hence they would not feel difficulty at all for TT in LDC or other posts.

Conclusion i): Deo CAG cut off will not be much affected but LDC cut off may go higher something because of these 4,606 candidates. So all depend on these remaining guys becuase lowest marks of these 4,606 candidates in each category would be 182.5, 172, 194 and 202.5 in SC, ST, OBC and UR respectively.

Conclusion ii): This huge difference in number of candidates may affect the cut off to go low only in DEST this time but to go high in LDC or other posts because this time it is possible that avaialble candidates who might increase in the number of available cadidates for LDC or other posts. It means the high scorer candidates who haven't math in 12th class or equivalent may move onto LDC or other posts in a huge number.

Note: i) This year Remaining 4,606 candidates consist of 758, 350, 2186 and 1312 from SC, ST, OBC and UR respctively. And last year remaining 20,726 candidates consist of 3,218, 1,666, 11,037 and 4,805 from SC, ST, OBC and UR.

Note: ii) There first result declared for CHSL 15 on 29th Dec, 16 with 5,438 candidates based on fixed cut off only in tier ii but again new list were declared for CHSL 15 on 3rd Jan, 17 including 16,261 new candidates on REVISED fixed cut off in both tier marks (tier i+ tier ii).

Note: iii) There was huge difference in the number of available candidates for DEST between both years because of meeting criteria of MATH subject only.

Note: iv) Since last year speed in DEST was 27wpm but 50wpm this time therefore comparision hasn't been done with last year data for cut off in LDC or other posts in concusion (i).

II. Preparation Time for TT/DEST: This time tier ii result declared on 13th Oct, and marks on 27th Oct. TT/DEST/DV started from 20th Nov.

Last time tier ii result were declared on 29th Dec and marks on 4th Jan, 17. TT/DEST started from 11th Feb, 17.

In short cut, this time SSC suddenly conducted the TT/DEST/DV just after 23 days of tier ii marks while we got 37 days last time. Yes this gap between tier ii result date and the marks date is the main factor for least time of preparation. Because this time we waited 14 days to be sure for marks in chsl 16 tier ii so that we maight have taken decision that preparation for TT/DEST is to be started or not to be started. We all were in dilemma. As last year candidated waited 6 days only for CHSL 15 tier ii. Hence all were clear and had enough time for their preparation of TT/DEST for CHSL 15.

Conclusion: This time all are in benefit only who had already knowledge of TT/DEST. So this factor may increase the number of absenties in TT/DEST/DV for CHSL 16 and may compensate the low scorers in LDC and other posts.

III. Cat Rank: This factor may affect the last selected candidate in each cat for same marks. Because this time failed in DEST candidates may increase the number of candidates in LDC or other posts for same marks. i.e. suppose if 40 candidates have 180 marks and cut off is also 180 where 5 candidates are required from 180 marks candidates. Then top 5 candidates out of 40 will get safe job. These 5 candidates will have more marks in tier i than that of other 35 candidates.

IV. Tier ii marks: This time a large number of candidates have obtained marks below 60 marks in tier ii but high marks in tier i And last year it was reverse as a large number of candidates have obtained marks above 60 marks in tier ii but less marks in tier i. So this factor won't affect the cuf off much. If it affect then cut off may go to low.

V. Final results of many exams: Many exams have declared their final results till now. So here is high possibility that many high scorer candidates may skip TT/DEST for CHSL 16. Hence, this will compensate to all possiblities for high cut off. It means this time low scorers may have good chances for safe job.

FINAL CONCLUSIONS: Factors mentioned as above only point (i) is responsible to be unexpectable result as high in LDC or other posts for UR and SC because only these two cats have more available candidates for TT in compare to last year (refer point i for more details) but expectable result as low in LDC or other posts for OBC and ST. Because these cats have less available candidates for TT than last year. Other points (ii), (iv) and (v) do favour to go low cut off for LDC and other posts (excluded CAG/other than CAG). Factor point (iii) may affect only to border case candidates for same marks. Hence, this point favours only to older/aged candidates catwise for lowest cut off.

                                                            The End

Well this cutoff thing and getting a job thing is creating rifts among PG members the only solution in my view to this problem is to accept that you might end up not getting the job as in sports and life you dont always get what you are looking for so i have decided to think i might not end up getting it but that doesn't mean we should get bitter but better

Bye Bye Friends..

What is happened ...that happened..to perform in CHSL 2016...I thought that thinking much about CHSL 2016 is going to ruin my future valuable time and career.....

What should happen..that will happen...I don't wanna think much about my selection in CHSL anymore and don't want to waste my precious time..

I'll be coming and visiting the posts daily for any latest updates...but I won't be indulging in any discussion from now...I just wanna give leave of about 1 month for PG comment section, bcz I have the following exams,

> IBPS Clerk Mains on - 21st Jan

> CGL Tier 2 - 18 to 20 Jan (tentative)

> MTS - On 28th Jan

I'll be back peacefully after giving all the above mentioned exams for my utmost level after 28th...Then will start thinking about CHSL cutoff again after 28th Jan...till then I'm just deleting all the thoughts of my selection in my mind...

If anyone needs help...u can message me in chat box...only if required..

Till then...You all Guys Take care..

Happy and Merry Christmas

Happy New Year in advance

I wish you all a very happy Pongal too in advance
