Suppose take marks 187.5..rank is 11272...in 11273 there are 6329 UR candidates..4387 obc candidates..490 SC candidates..64 st candidates...
Since this year attendance is low compared to last year ..assume 800 absent in UR..6329-700=5629...suppose 60% were passed in tt.,.5629*0.6=3375.....
In obc suppose 700 absents are there 4387-700=3687.....since all will not passed tt as ur..take 40% ..3687*0.4=1474....
Out of SC st take 100/450 will pass as ur in tt..
3375+1474+100=4949....
So after tt his rank will be 4949...even though ur seats were 3700 if he get 4800 rank he will get job..since deo and pasa cutoff of obc candidates is higher than ur ldc cutoff and some obc candidates take their reserved seat for described post..last year chsl2015 after typing test the man who got ldc job have rank 6602 even though the ur seats were 4020 at that time..here I taken least case..I taken less absentees and more tt pass percentage...if error % 5% it may come down

Guys, the number of students attended the TT this year is 15291 + the attendance of NR. From NR there was total 15000 candidates called for TT. Now I think the %age of candidates who have attended TT from NR will be around 80 Maximum. Then the %age of total candidates appeared in TT will be around 67%. If out of the 67% candidates only 50% qualifies the TT. The a AIR 13000 ranks will be converted to 4300. Then there are 510 vacancies for DEO. And there are other two things 1.people who have opted for age relaxation. 2.people who opted for only one or two department. Which can further reduce the ranks. 13000 AIR means 185.5 marks. Therefore I think the cut off will be 185.5-185.
Can anybody please explain the procedure of how a department is allotted to a candidate.
