What to do before writing a letter on descriptive sheet?
Generally what happens, after we are given descriptive sheet it’s our choice that which one to choose first whether letter writing or essay writing.
Generally most people start writing “letter writing” topic, the reason why is …it take less time and within less time we can attempt 50 Marks question. And those who are done with Letter writing then they move on to the next section which is Essay Writing. Don’t worry...There is separate space provided for each section (i.e., separate pages provided only for letter writing and separate pages only for essay writing). Once you are given descriptive sheet in exam, search for “Letter writing”. If it’s not found in the starting pages and turn the pages and you will find the “Letter Writing” section there in the later pages.
Basically if you observe from past trends, I mean since past 2 years...Current issues are being asked in both Essay writing section and Letter Writing Section. Our task is to convert the way we write discussing about major points of the concerned topic depending on concerned section. So based on my experience, I can say that you are going to see topic related to “Current Issues” in Letter Writing Section.
Now, let’s discuss about what to before actually putting pen on paper. Should we directly start writing immediately after seeing the letter writing topic on sheet?? My answer is obviously NO. Now, after seeing the topic…just pause..Yes...just pause and think for minimum 3 to 4 minutes that what to write in first para, second para and concluding para as generally letter writing should consist of 3 paras. Just think and keep things in mind as you will be not given any rough sheet to write your ideas…Your mind is a biggest weapon in Exam and hence use it wisely.
What to write and which format to follow…everything we will be discussing in upcoming articles. Then you will get some idea about writing main theme in the concerned paras. For now, just get my point that “WAIT FOR A WHILE…THINK…WHAT’S THE MAIN THEME” to be presented there...And then start putting your lucky pen on paper.
