i would like to draw the kind attention of my friends to the fact that often many candidate who have scored high marks in SSC-CPO exam opt out from this field due to various reasons like preparing exclusively for DP or CISF in the next year's SSC-CPO ,getting opportunity in SSC-CGL or many other exams and even for the sheer fear of joining CRPF and BSF due to very less scored marks. Hence many vacant posts are left .SSC just don't bother to fill up these posts by calling up the candidate from below the merit list .It is carried forward and added to the next year's vacancy. As a result many willing candidate don't get the opportunity to join the force ,more specifically to get employed. In fact many willing candidate just lose the chance to appear for the exam for good and ever as it was there last attempt because of this unfair practice. This is extremely unethical and unfair the way high merit but unwilling candidate blocks/exploit those seats and SSC indirectly supports it.
My proposal is likely to solve the issue to change the preference as well as filling up of vacant seat left .I would like to plead on behalf of thousands of willing candidate to SSC for conducting a session ,after declaration of result ,where candidate should be allowed to appear in SSC office and change the preference of the candidate for their desired posts.
In this way ,if any high merit unwilling candidate doesn't appeared in the session ,they could be weed out easily and the immediate next willing candidate be allowed to fill that post i.e the system of waiting list .As a result everyone gets the fair chance to change the preference and at the same time CAPF also get to fillup all the vacancy benefitting the two interest groups.

Guys , while filling up my online CPO Application i filled my graduation percentage 7.1% instead of 71% by mistake. is it going to effect my candidature or will i be able to receive admit card. As i have read that the only eligibility is that the candidate should be a graduate.
