I had my dv yesterday at 3.30 pm. Reached at 2.30 but the entry started at around 4.45 pm. Once I was inside, I did not have to wait anywhere. The process was quite smooth. I had to change my temporary and permanent address but affidavit was not required. They just asked me to write an application for the same and I attached the address proof along with the application for the corresponding address and they told me that I could change my permanent address during the joining process. The whole process took around 45 min.
Note: If your college doesn't provide you with the official marksheet, try and get the printout verified from college. It helped in my case.

Guys ye category certificate k liye Jo date di hai i.e. 15.05.2017 iska kya matlb hai Does they need certificates made before this date....?
