Chits will not guarantee job in imd.it is merit and right qualifications for doing job , according to news got from one of my friend working in imd office.....so please wait for merit list accordingly reservation...

If the tentative vacancy 1102 is fixed and final, Why IMD listed 2336 for verification and considered for post. Why specifically 2336?

Abhi mujhe Google pe ek no. Mila uspe call karke pucha to unhone bataya ki result is weekend website pe upload ho jayega . And waiting list bhi aa sakti hai Last me unhone ye bhi kha ki 200-250 seats vacant or hui hai to shayad vo add ho ya shayad na ho. Or jisko viswas karna ho karo jisko nhi karna vo mat kro

Yaha pr kuch scientist research kr pta lgane me lgehai ki kon safe h kon nahi. Jiska apnejitna rank h woh uske baad walo ko unsafe declare kr deta hai. Lgta h Sabko noble prize chahiye.

Final prediction. 520-155(OBC)-5(SC)-20(PH)=340. Now number of absentees up to 1050 in UR category= 30+ PH candidates who take seats in UR category. Now I'll assume 15 UR candidates (worst case) are absent till 700. So number of absentees up to 700= 15+ 20 PH candidates who take UR seats. So 340+35~725 must be safe provided they have 138.5 marks.( Didn't consider OBC absentees, eligibility issues, percentage criteria, age relaxation).
