For those who are having doubt regarding 2nd round and cutoff... I am explaining the process with an example... Posting this in eng so evryone can understand... Suppose total 100 vacany are there in a given region ... And suppose 1lakh student applied... Then after first round since there are 100 vacny they would call in a ratio of 1:20 or 1: 50 ( this ratio i dont know)... Then for 100 vacany they would call 100*50 = 5000 candidates in 2nd round and the marks of the last 5000th rank candidate would be the cutoff... Then after giving the 2nd round those who qualify the 2nd round supoose out of 5000, 3500 qualified then out of that 3500 candidates they will take first 100 only and that time the marks of the 100th candidate would be the cutoff... And if they prepare standy by list then they might take extra 30 to 50% extra candidates of total vacany ... If any candiates doesnt take job out of 100 they will fill it with this extra candiadtes... U r welcome if u having any doubts...
