I read this in an ET article: " The memorandum further states that no arrears will be paid from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. However, any hike in DA due to revision on July 1, 2021 will take into account the previous hikes as well.".
It has been further mentioned that: "As and when the decision to release the future instalment of Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief due from 1st July 2021 is taken by the Government the rates of Dearness allowance and Dearness relief effective from 1st January 2020, 1st July 2020 and 1st January 2021 will be restored prospectively and will be subsumed in the cumulative revised rate effective from July 1, 2021. No arrears from the period from 1st January 2020 to 30 June 2021 will be paid."
Can anyone please explain this? I will be joining a central government job soon. Hence, I am asking. Thanks in advance.

Dear friends I have a doubt. Ssc north region is started giving OK list for phase VII posts. Many people are telling they released ok list merit wise ( topper name is 1st followed by 2nd name is for 2nd ranker is it so? For example I am posting here the ok list of technical officer post . If anybady of that list present in this group kindly send their raw marks to me. So that we can analyse whether ssc NR released ok list merit wise or random.thank you
