first of all in the call letter they have given 3,15,000 not 3,05,000 for 2 yrs. +54000 for hostel +31200 for mess + the amounts u will be inculcating in general living there(for various reasons) consider around 4.5 laks
too much for tapmi obviously. 10k for fines i said bcoz , my friend there said tht they fine u on absolutely insane things( a way to dish out money). cannot leave manipal in 1st yr not even to udupi and things like tht .
some ppl r even dismissed for disciplinary reasons 100% attendance necessary(dunno why u need to implement tht if a student is stupid enuff to bunk let him) PGites plz clarify .

thats true. and there is all this talk of a new campus coming up. from what i hear , its been coming up for quite some time now, and there are no indications of the work getting completed in the near future. in all probability, the incoming batch will have to complete the course in the present campus. what irritated me the most was the crap that i got from the profs in the interview panel. they told me they only wanted the best students from india with perfect academic records and other activities on the side. what they described as the 'complete package'. it was at the tip of my tongue to ask them how they expected to attract the best students with such bad infrastructure. did anyone actually ask them that? i would have liked to hear them justify their campus.
i have been reading some of the posts in this thread and thought of sharing my views on it......... most of the posts the people are talking about infrastructure and stuff like that...... but honestly speaking IS INFRASTRUCTURE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE??? i personally dont think so........ i agree that TAPMI doesnt have a great infrastructure to boast about but it definitely has a GOOD curriculum and facutly......
and hey wht is good infrastructure???? a libarary having 100000 + books and campus being in acres and all that...... out of the 100000 + books in a library how many are we going to read in 2 years??? think about it and you would get the answer......... and about a huge campus........ are we looking to relax or jog around a lush green campus........ i agree if its there it would be pleasing to see and relax us more but without it also we can definitely learn??? wht say???
so i firmly believe that rating a college on its infrastructure is not right........ MBA is not about infrastructure but its about a life long experience.............
i hope i have not offended anyone here.......... guys think about it and you would realise that its the quality of education and experience that matters than the infrastructure.......

hey bhavik man, u r right no probs with tht. our point is if u do not do justice to the fees u ask for u shud not ask for so much.5 laks man its no kidding. with an avg salary of 3.7 aftr 2 yrs when r we gonna repay the 5 laks. and with the learning experience we have done tht for 21 yrs.Basically a mba coll shud have good infra,if not gr8 placements like bajaj which has not so good infra. comparing with others tapmi has this gr8 disadvantage,of not having gr8 infra but charging more thn those who have!!!!

I was just at the TAPMI website and clicked on the same "Admission Result" (http://www.tapmi.org/catpgdm.asp) link which all of us used to find out whether we were shortlisted or not for GD/PI.
Until this morning, when I entered my CAT and TAPMI regn. nos., I was provided with my details and my Interview schedule.
NOW HOWEVER, I get this message: Sorry, the information provided by you does not match with the list of candidates shortlisted.
What does this mean? Have they already put up their final call list or are they in the process of doing so and hence the final call database hasn't yet been linked or is this just the site displaying erratic behaviour?? Could you guys (especially those of you whose GD/PI went very well to the extent of being nearly picture perfect/flawless) please check and find out .

Well not when you click on Get Results after entering all information the next page is not displayed at all........ so well I guess something is cooking up there......... be ready it may be online anytime I think....... don't loose hope the resulst were not out as yet it seems so hang on guys the ride has just begun 😃
Cool down, friends. I don't think anything can b concluded from that page. If u noticed the home page of Tapmi says that the site has been last updated on 20-01-2005. So whatever is on the results page might b a glitch or the server of Tapmi must b in the process of updation. So lets wait till tomorrow:) . Anyways worrying about it is not going to change the results 😉
I too get the same "Congratulations" message, but my interview date shows Feb W, 2005. Whats should I presume? Waitlisted? But I learn that Tapmi doesn't publish a waitlist. I am hoping for the best!
